our roommate has a cat but he's basically also ours haha. his name is truck (short for truck shepfurrd, referencing truck shepherd of monster factory fame)
banner by I love how many cats are featuring on this topic. I’ve got a little black and white cat - she was my grandma’s, but I’ve adopted her. She’s a cat who knows what she wants, and will not accept anything less.
wow I see so many cat owners! <3 I used to have 2 short haired tabbys but they passed away years ago. They had lovable personalities and little kinks in their tails. I always thought I'd get another cat one day but since then, unintentionally, I've never had a cat.
Instead, I've had many other kinds of animals... And most of them just walked into my life and never left like my dog...he was a young stray pitbull wandering the neighborhood. He is super loving and well behaved and I assumed he belonged to someone. Long story short, we never found his previous owners and he never left our home even though he was free to leave. I think he took a liking to us and decided we were his new family.
Oh I also have bunnies. Holland lops and Netherland dwarfs. Surprisingly they all get along with my pitbull and vice versa. Whenever I take my bunnies outside to free roam in the grass, he watches over and guards them. It's the sweetest thing.
fantastic update on this:
meet garlic!!
we found him and decided to keep him (pending him getting along with truck).
banner by I have 2 dogs: Daisy (7yo Boxer/Saint Bernard mix), and Loki (1yo Great Pyrenees). Also, a rabbit named Willy. All 3 are quirky/crazy in their own way :D
Lots of cats! I have two, but they're really my partner's, Frank & Jon Snow, both female haha We also keep a collection of tarantulas together as well as a centipede and some isopods.
Pets that are just mine are, a ball python named Luci, leopard gecko called Luna, a winter white russian ham called Pip and I have my own mini aquascape with a betta (Pluto), some sterbai corys, kuhli loaches and plenty of shrimp and snails!
We're both big animal enthusiasts. Until last october I had kept rats for a large portion of my life - they're still my favourite companion animal. Unfortunately uni takes up too much of my time to give them the love and attention they require, but one day I'll have rats again <3
I have two sweet kitties. One is a seven-year old tortie named Myra, and the other is a white and ginger boy named Trevor who is almost a year old now.
I've never had any kind of pet except for cats, but I love animals of many types! I think reptiles, especially snakes, are really cool.
I have a tuxedo cat named Pocus, and I've had her since I was in middle school. She's getting to be pretty old, and within the past year she's developed several health problems. She's on a special diet for diabetes, she's on medication to keep her from having seizures, and she's begun to have some kidney problems as well. We're doing everything we can to keep her comfortable and happy for as long as possible. She's my baby.
I have 2 cats, a tuxedo named Sara and a black cat named Santi. I grew up with dogs and love dogs but I always wanted a cat so when I was an adult and on my own I adopted them and I'm so in love. I'm a cat person completely now. I would die for my michis.
I have two Bengal cats, who are both about a year and a half old now! :3 They're very cute and took a lot of effort to handle as kittens, hahaha, but it's getting easier. They're very smart and they love to cuddle under blankets with my husband and I. As I type this, one of the cats just knocked over a ton of laundry...xD
As for future pets, we're planning on getting a dog after the cats. My husband's mom is deathly afraid of anything that isn't a husky, but we're going to go with a breed that looks enough like a husky that it won't scare her, but ummm, won't be a husky behaviorally. LOL. I'd love a husky someday but not as my first dog that my husband and I have.
We're also going to have reptiles at some point, and probably some arthropods. Maybe a tarantula or a whip scorpion. RIP to my dreams of having hissing cockroaches though because my husband would be totally unable to deal, hahaha. And EVENTUALLY, if we can afford it, we really want horses, too.
I have two cats and a buttload of tarantulas
SELL ME FOOD PLS? 🡺 CLICK HERE 🡸I have my sweet Sunshine. She is a lucas terrier breed type but we rescued her from the pound so not exactly sure on the breed but she's a swetheart!
I have a Sheba, Brandish and Randy. All cats, not entirely sure their breeds, but I can make a guess from what I remember from vet visits. Sheba is a mostly gray tortie Randy is the father of Brandish and they look exactly the same (besides gender and lack of tail), but they're....Uh, something. Weirdly enough, as mentioned before, Randy was a stray and he actually got my friend's sister's cat, Piper, pregnant and I wanted the one that looked exactly like Randy. I wish I chose the all black one with a tail, because it was more calm when I went to take Brandish.
I have a Sandy colored Maine coon mix cat his name is Clyde and my mom has a flock of about 11 or 12 baby ducks. :}
I’m new to gold accounts, too!
I read your post and thought OMG! Though I’m petless now, my dream dog has always been a Newfoundland Dog! And growing up I had a Percheron and Belgian horses!
We’re like dream opposite twins!
I have one dog named Eden and she's a mutt, lol. Schnauzer mixed with a Shih Tzu. If anyone has a schnauzer-shih tzu mix, I'd love to see photos! <3
