Lololol it's fine.. I may be the stupid one for not getting the reference....
Why do I have to choose just one? Lol comfort food that I love to make for other people is usually Mac and Cheese made from scratch. This is a basic recipe that you can alter very easily. You can make it as a side dish or add proteins and veggies and make it a complete meal! You can switch up the types of cheeses and even the spices. Everyone really likes it.
ahah. Yes! mac & comté & smoked bacon & mushrooms & too much white pepper...

Easy question for me. My comfort food is mashed potatoes with gravy!

Dude yes! I love mushrooms but a lot of people dont. I love doing a veggie mac with mushrooms, onions. broccoli, carrots and have that with a steak. So good. What is your favorite comfort food?
Fried potatoes and onions. Simple, easy homey! Sometimes we would eat them on bread with mayo like a sandwich. So good!
Some form of mac & cheese for the basic one... in particular when I finally overcome a migraine and I'm really hungry. But my favorite thing, especially when I come home in the winter, is a bowl of soup (usually pumpkin soup of some sort) and some bolitas de yuca (spicy mashed yuca with cheese, panned and fried - I use gochujang and good French cheese, instead of what's the original recipe calls for) yummy!

Sooo fancy! But I love to cook so I'm just messing with you. I tend to lean more on the stew side for soups as I am a texture kinda person. But I love pumpkins. i mean I love them. I collect them in here and in real life and they are literally my favorite fruit so pumpkin soup? I do it every winter too I usually do aa mix of pumpkin, granny smith apples and another gourd that looks good that day. Topped with creme fraiche and toasted pumpkin seeds are my favorite of soups. Now is this just your favorite comfort food or food period?
One of my favorite comfort foods would have to be my Mama's chicken and dumplings.
For her dumplings, it's salt, pepper, flour, and water. No exact measurements, just until it's seasoned enough, and until your batter is about a bit thicker than pancake mix, but not as thick to be a dough. Now that's for the dumplings, and when you make the dumplings you gotta put your spoon in, and twirl it so that the batter forms a dumpling, and it'll puff up and everything during the boiling process. They are dense and warm and just.... It makes me wanna cry I miss them so much. For the soup, it's not a big deal. Chicken, chicken stock, water, your holy trinity (ours is celery, carrots, and onions), salt, pepper, and egg noodles. It's just a warm, stick to your sides kind of meal. It's perfect on cold, rainy days. I wish I had some today, in fact. I hope you can make it sometime, !

Comfort foods are my favorite foods in general...
pumpkin, hot pepper & peanut butter soup!
When I lived on the Atlantic coast, I had pumpkins (and melons in the summer) producers near, so I could so many different kinds for cheap. Yum yum. The display on the side of the road where they sold them was amazing.

Ahhhh, thank you!!!!! I’m glad my okapi love has paid off. They are so cool. I was smiling so my coworker asked me what was so funny so I explained okapis to him. He was not impressed, but obviously he has no taste...
