I was 28 when I got married, and I told my husband then that he owes me at least 29 years, so that I will have been with him more than I was without him! We only hit 18 this year, but we're looking good! =D

I got Married when I was 28 also & had my daughter at 33.My Husband is 7 years younger then me.He was 21 when we got married.On his side of the family they divorced all over the place his mom sister & brother.I told him your stuck with me for life No divorcing here.Poor guy I bet he wishes he would have thought about that just a little bit more.To late now Hahahaha 😉 Oh Yeah He's still looking good & I look like I have 1 foot in the grave. Lol 😆 He's a wonderful Husband, Father & now Grandfather.We love each other very much,I would be lost without him & him without me for sure.

Had to make a five-hour round trip for a funeral today, and I'm bone-tired and headachey, but I'm just too tired to sleep. Does that happen to anyone else?

I have trouble sleeping like that sometimes, I take a Tylenol Pm but only if I have too It helps.My Husband is my Best Friend then & now also.I think that is the best way to start out & keep going.It sounds like you have a close loving relationship like mine. Hugs =)

Hope your get-together is perfect! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, after birthdays. I just love what it represents, as well as all the yummy harvest-type food. Sweet potatoes and pumpkins are two of my favorite foods!

, I love sweet potatoes, sweet potato fries and pumpkin pie. I'm sure we'll have those and strawberry shortcake too among other things. Our daughter and two of our granddaughters are cooking. Diets will go by the wayside and we'll all eat too much as usual. 😆

Thank you , we did have a nice Thanksgiving. We weren't able to go to the family dinner. Two many stairs for Bruce. So we had a nice dinner here at the home and the family came over with dessert and we had a good visit. They also were over the day before for a while. Daughter and son-in-law game us 18 beautiful roses in a combination of yellow, orange and white. 😄

I love reading all of the stories about the happy, loving, successful marriages! Unfortunately, I have been unlucky in love. I do still believe in love though, just not for me. My heart is breaking for you! It is difficult to watch our loved ones suffer, it is such a feeling of helplessness when there isn’t anything we can do. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. I have to take nighttime sleep aid often. I try not to, but, my mind has trouble shutting down at bedtime.. I think it’s an old person thing. Lol

thank you Debra, I appreciate your prayers. We need all of them we can get. Everyone is really good. I'm so glad we're living in a small town and in this senior's home. the pharmacist brings Bruce's med right to our door. The automotive service came and got our car, did what needed to be done for the winter and brought it back without charging the labor cost. People are so kind with offering to help however they can. We're so blessed. 😄
