Happy birthday doll! I think my favorite fall memory was my first autumn in Yosemite. Getting to watch as the leaves all changed, and sitting up at Glacier Point, elevation 7, 214 feet from the valley floor, and drink hot chocolate as the sun set over the valley floor and then star gazing that night and the stars looking like you were in a huge telescope . Then driving home I saw my first mountain lion.

One of my favorite things about fall growing up was helping my dad rake leaves in the yard. We were little (me and my siblings) so I am sure we weren't actually much help (and we always ended up jumping in the piles of leaves). But it was time we all spent together.

My birthday is actually next week! I almost never celebrate it because my family lives in another country, but when I went to uni I celebrated for the first time with a big group of friends (me and another friend share the same birthday) and did some pre-drinks and games at my house and then went into town. It was great! Now I'm actually looking forward to celebrate it with my boyfriend and go to the movies and get some sushi :P

My favorite fall memory is the time my friend and I took my foster dog, Sheba, in our yearly fall farm visits. We first went apple picking at one farm, where everyone thought she was just so precious. Then, we went to another farm that allowed her on the hay ride and we went pumpkin picking. She was so good on the hay ride and people were very impressed with her behavior. Finally, we ended the day at a cider mill where we got apple cider donuts for the people and a hot dog to share with Sheba. It was a great day !

My best birthday was actually this year. It was a “significant “ birthday and my children (all grown up now) arranged a surprise party for me, all I knew was that I had to buy two new outfits and be at the hairdressers at a certain time. I thought my party was gift enough but the the next day, my actual birthday, they told me I was going to Venice the next weekend. As if that wasn’t enough the trip included an after hours tour of St Marks Basilica and a meal in a top restaurant overlooking the Grand Canal. I have the most amazing children ever ?

One of my favorite birthday memories was a year that my dad decided to spend it with me. It was just the two of us and we went out to a restaurant for lunch (we never ate out as a family) and to the movies (my pick of course!) and it was so nice to just spend the day with him. He worked a lot and was almost never home so I felt super special that he took the day off just to be with me.

When I was first dating my girlfriend, we tried a Pinterest craft where you collect fallen leaves and Modge Podge them to the inside of a candle to make pretty mason jar lights with her grandmother. We didn't finish it for some reason, but it was a lot of fun because I got to walk around the forest with her gram and hang out and drink coffee. Her grandmother has since passed away, so it's a good memory. ❤️

One of my favorite memories of Autumn is getting up very early in the morning when at my mom's house in NJ and us taking a short drive to the beach to watch the sunrise over the ocean. It's such a lovely peaceful time, it's not as humid as summer to it's clearer, and the beach is nearly empty. Though often there are early morning fisherman on the beach. We've seen pelicans flying low over the waves heading south. Have taken some lovely pictures. Both my mom and I have issues with sleep now so we have not gotten up early to catch a sunrise in some time but it's a happy memory. ❤

a favorite fall memory of mine is when i would go to this local farm/store when i was a kid. i just loved going there to pick a pumpkin and going through the hay maze. it was the best. unfortunately the place isn't there anymore and even though i can go elsewhere to do the same things. it just isn't the same!

My favorite birthday memory was my sixth birthday. Mom had a birthday party for me at the house and we opened some presents. She'd hidden a few in the guest bedroom for later so that there would be some for my grandma to watch me open later on when she got there. One of my little friends found the stash and came and got me and the rest of my friends and we sat in the floor and we ALL opened of the rest of the gifts. LOL! Mom was not happy with Susie.

I would have to say my favorite birthday memory would be visiting Paris, France with my sister and siblings-in-law. My sister, sister-in-law, and soon-to-be brother-in-law had all come to visit my family in Belgium just a couple weeks after we moved there. They had made plans to visit Paris while they were there, and graciously invited me to come along. We hopped on the train early in the morning to get there with plenty of time to see a lot. I took a nap on the train, and when I woke up close to Paris, I checked my watch and realized it was my birthday! I had completely forgotten and was so surprised and excited XD We had an awesome time and visited the Eiffel Tower to end the night. I don't think any of my birthdays will ever top that :)
