While the Quidditch players are off in closed practice today, we are all going on a mini field trip to Hogsmeade to try some of the delicious food offered at their annual food truck festival.

This week's theme is Hogsmeade Food Truck Festival.

Your challenge this week is to create a Human Avatar ready for a summer outing.

Some rules for this challenge: 1.) State your name and the team you are supporting. 2.) Tell us what food truck you're most excited to visit or which menu item you're excited to try. 3.) Bonus points may be awarded to particularly creative entries!

Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge rules and theme shall be awarded 10 Tournament Points!

"I'm Lily Rose supporting Russia. I'm so excited to visit the food truck "The Mona Pizza." I love Italian food, especially pizza. I've heard they make the most amazing combinations, with flaky dough. All of them are named after artists as well. Reading the menu, I think I wanna get the Vincent Van Dough pizza which has pepperoni, bacon, yellow peppers and shrimp. Maybe I'll also grab the Pablo Picasta which is pizza with marinara sauce topped with pasta noodles. I'm gonna be sooo full."

Hi, I'm Ylva Blackmane and I'm supporting Japan. I'm looking forward to 'Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop' Truck, serving tea and cakes!

Though my family serves traditional Japanese food at home and I get to try delicious English recipes at school, I'm going to try new things in support of Greece. Grecian food has been described as light and fresh, so I'm interested in having a sample. I heard the food tuck "Opa!" will be in Hogsmeade for the festival.

I would have to say I'm most excited to try Souvlaki. It is chunks of skewered pork and is Greece’s favorite fast food, served on chopped tomatoes and onions in pitta bread with lashings of tzatziki.

On the other hand, I'm least excited to try Taramasalata. It's a creamy blend of pink or white fish roe, with either a potato or bread base, is best with a drizzle of virgin olive oil or a squeeze of lemon. Creamy fish and potatoes just sounds gross!

I think I'm most excited to try the pelmeni (Russian dumplings) from the Russian food truck, Volshebnyye Blyuda (it means Magical Meals)! I've always wanted to try Russian food, and I love dumplings. Pelmeni is very thin dough filled with lamb, pork, or beef and lots of herbs. You can also choose to get pelmeni served alone or in a broth. Here I am standing outside their food truck waiting for them to open - I'm that excited!

Sure there is an Indian food truck for when he wants some comfort food, similar yet deliciously different from back home in Egypt. But Seb is probably most excited to stuff his face with English pastries. YUM!

Isolde is looking forward to the variety of foods to try at the many different food trucks stationed in Hogsmeade. She likes baking in her own spare time, so trying a few cakes is a priority for her. Though her number one priority in the summer heat is a nice ice cold drink!

Outfit Not Found Ivy is looking forward to trying the desserts from the Divine Temptations food truck! First, one must touch the orb sticking out on the side of the truck that reads your aura. Ivy's is orange, so the accompanying dessert suggestion is the Creamsicle Float Your Boat that's served in a hollowed out citrus fruit. It's made with Otters Fizzy Orange Juice from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, hallabong mandarins, and grass-fed vanilla ice cream. The friendly young woman behind the till passes each customer a packet of glowing aura powder to wear at the festival. There's no mistaking which team Ivy supports now. 😊

Gwen is looking forward to trying a lot of different things from the different countries. However she is most looking forward to the Japanese street food Dangos. She has seen that there is a truck called Oishī (which means Yummy is Japanese) so she will have to start there. Hopefully she can find something for her little "friends" too (her two pets joined her as well as a sick kitten she found).

Lorcan W. Tierney is super excited for the Japanese food truck. As he grew up on an Irish island, he's very familiar with fish and really wants to know what it's like prepared in a different way, so the Sushi food truck is his number one spot! He also heard about the little sweet mochis and is looking forward to get a lot of them - they seem to come in a great variety of different tastes and he wants to have a piece of everyone of them! =D
