, oh the price points are def related to the type of item because CWs cost different prices depending on what type of item they are in shops, too. I just think it seems like things are more expensive this year on all the layers, but I could be wrong!

Do private wishlists show up as a different colour in the pawnshop? I could def make my owned private for the duration of the event, I don't take offers on it anyway! It's just there for my own reference. But I thought they were only a different colour on the wishlist page.

I don't have any CWs on a private wishlist so I don't really know. I just think it would be great to have different colors for different types of categories, especially owned and friends. Is your owned always private? I guess I have only seen them when people are offering the items up for possible trade or sale.

Any wishlist is public or private depending on how you toggle it, but the only private wishlist I have is for trading cards, because I am not a serious trading card collector and only buy the ones that actually look like trading cards (with art on them). I see no point in owning a bunch of "Trading Cards" that just say "subeta" on them. Since there are no trading cards in the pawn shop...

Off topic, but there's a thing that could use a revamp or 500. Having trading cards that just say "Subeta" and have no visual reference to the thing that they allegedly represent makes zero degrees of sense to me.

Right. I just never browse the regular pawn shop so have never seen if anything I have listed as private is in the rest of the shop. Honestly, the only time I buy from the shop at all is if I am questing ans something comes up cheaper.

The easy way to tell is to find a cw in the pawn shop right now and private wl it and see if it has the private color in there. Why don't I do that now? :p

EDIT: The answer is no. Private listings come up with the same blue background as any other wishlist item.

I love your idea about different WL colors! Maybe something that a user could customize- certain WL categories could be certain colors, etc (so you could keep track of what were thing you wanted, what your friends wanted, what CWs you owned, etc). I don't know how hard that would be to implement but it would help my pawn shop searches (and honestly my inventory) immensely. Perhaps start with CWs and then expand to all items or something?

They didn't give a warning on the day of, but they did say when they first mentioned it would be opening and again when it opened that it would be closing after August 7th.

You know what would be an interesting feature? If we were able to mark things we don't want as visible or invisible (like how we have in the wardrobe, you just toggle the eye icon). That way you can tell what you've viewed and what you haven't. If you don't like something or know you definitely won't buy it, just turn it invisible so it's not constantly in your search. You would still have to go through them, but only once. If you made a mistake you can just check your "invisible" category to toggle it back to visible. This way only new items and things that you want will show up in any category.

Another way to categorize it could be hair type, maybe "short hair," "medium hair," and "long hair" length. I definitely see the head layer as very tedious to go through. I think I went through the same layers and found a TON of things I really loved (and bought) that weren't on my wishlist xD but it did take forever.

Toggling would be so helpful! And it wouldn't help anyone snipe items, either. I think I finally got through the entire head layer on the next to last day. And even then I am sure I missed something I would have really liked.

I would have loved a hair length category. :/ The CW pawn shop is basically my only opportunity to search for (and buy) CWs, since it's so overwhelming to navigate the forums, and even the CW shop is difficult for me to navigate since I'm so disconnected from the CW community. Honestly, anything to make CWs easier to search for would be nice.

A tagging system might be helpful to sort items, and tags could be suggested by both CW creators and users who are browsing them (kind of like Weasyl's tagging system). It could help folks narrow down colors, hair length, type of clothing (e.g. dress, shirt, etc.), whether it's a tribute item, and so on. It'd be a big chore, but I think it'd ultimately make the shop far more accessible and profitable. People won't buy something that they can't find, after all.

I can definitely see why they wouldn’t just put a search feature, like to stop people from searching ‘rum cake’ or ‘oxies’ and buying everything that turns up to sell for profit, but on the other hand you can literally just mass add everything to your wl and use the wl filter function to see if they pop up.

idk I’m torn. can someone remind me if there’s a waiting period between purchases? my biggest beef w the cw community is buying popular items to sell for profit. and I saw so much of that w the shop being open it left such a bitter taste in my mouth, so id love to see waiting time between purchases (again please lmk if that’s not a thing already MY B I only bought one thing this time around :’D) or more things to discourage people from being assholes buying things to sell for profit

I would make it so only a few cws show up at once and there is no filter option, you either buy one of them or don't but both would result in a waiting time :'D but then again I like surprises and could see this angering a lot of people because of how random / slow and time consuming / unfair it was

I think someone made a hustler suggestion ages ago where people could see a random cw in the pawn shop to buy. I think that would be a good idea to implement between mass cw pawn shop openings imo as I don't know about anybody else but I found it SO overwhelming to see so many cws and had to prioritize and that's with a larger csc budget than I thought I would have and a hustler mini version would be so much kinder lol

also, yeah I agree the same clunky layout for the pawn shop was abysmal but idk how to make it better myself so I feel like this isn't really being constructive, sorry D:

I think seeing one wouldn't work for mass openings, but times between mean the entire pawn shop is off limits and even one would be enough to check back in for me but I realise it wouldn't work for everyone
