For the Wizard, I was trying out the new M Slappy Hand plus Ether, and that was doing alright. So if you could borrow one, maybe that would be a solution for you. All in all, he's such a pain on those higher levels. I'm stopping at 45 this year- it's just too rough to try for more. At least there's no loot at 100 wins!

Yeah... He likes doing that... I turned to starting each battle and immediately started using my Ether while trying to get my freeze chain + bombs off. It's so difficult. I also had a backup Natasha for bullets, but the Natasha never could actually do enough damage to kill him. But just keep chugging! You might not get to 100, but I'm sure you can get a few more wins in!

Ugh, grinding fatigue. The T7s both have 200k damage on the big guy, the T8 has 600k. Originally I was going to get the 7s to 500k and the 8 to 2.5m and then get as many littles as possible to 100k... but... I'm so bored with doing this :P

- when you say more damage do you mean more damage per turn or more damage per fight.

No the high rate freeze ones are all expensive T-T Freezing is the only way to get some damage in on him when you're lower tier. Yeah the perilous whirlpool freeze rate isn't high enough, that's why I was recommending cold blast. If you can get the full block first turn, you won't need the heal so maybe try the breastplate instead? How far are you from tier 8?

Definitely worth trying to see how much you can do before the end of the event. I know there is at least a participation price for fighting the hydra but you never know, you might get other prizes as well!
