Occlumens is my battler and gourmand. I have a wishlist of all the food he still needs to eat, so every day before BQs I sort that by user price and buy the 10 cheapest things from it to feed him.

If you view the 'foods eaten' option from the dropdown menu for each pet on the main pets page there's an option to see what's missing, which makes it much easier to add directly to a wishlist. (Same applies for books read.) That way if I get something from a quest or random event I can tell at a glance if I need it or not.

Everyone else starves unless there's a battle event on, when the chosen ones are given oofa fruit (there's a very, very small chance to find a bug in an oofa fruit, and 10 gets an achievement).

Also I did not guess new BQ challengers! That was probably not worth my getting up early (I was secretly hoping for a rerelease of the universal remote in the crystal shop or something like that) but it's still cool to see, the same old faces were getting stale.

Not going to lie, I made sure to double check my wizard token and HPB stash in case god weapons got thrown in the crystal shop.

care to share your weapon/scroll set against Biting Cake, please? 🙏 That's one challenger i have yet to beat, yet I'm higher tier 12

I have a guide to him over here. He's very tricky :P I recommend some combination of Maniacal Essence + Cronus Blade, Maniacal Slappy Hand, or Ornamented Hook Swords. If you don't have those, a dark + magma or earth blocker.

For scrolls, Cobalt Eternal or Gift of the Forj are very helpful.

Good luck! I believe Tziety can do it :D Your speed is high enough to not have to worry about critical hits, you just need to figure out how best to use your scrolls when your weapons are disabled. I think blasting the Death By Chocolate would help a lot in that in preventing the weapon disabling, but that involves some luck :P

">How could you forget this? :P I had misremembered, it actually activates at 400 in cumulative strength boosts. Purge said back then that he was open to boosting it if it wasn't available every Masq though, which it hasn't been so far. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

The base stats for the Panzer Hydra Gauntlet: :dmg:physical:7-14 :dmg🔥10 :dmg:magma:10 :dmg:wind:8 :block:water:35 :heal: 8%

After 400 in strength boosts: :dmg:physical:10-14 :dmg🔥11 :dmg:magma:11 :dmg:wind:10-11 :block:water:35-45 :block:magma:15 :heal: 11%

It boosts your strength by 20 each turn to help activate the boosted attack/defense.

Thank you so much ! I think the only other one that can give me problems will be Menecuda and Vintage Prodigy, since I haven't beaten them either.

Because its SO BAD it's not worth remembering lol. Looking through that thread I made a lot of great points :). I'm glad I don't need to do that math again, but its TERRIBLE. I'm surprised I pulled the punches on my working so much back then lol.

It's a high-end prize thats worse than Paintbrush Blades, and you need to go through a ton of effort to get to it. Even if we had another 150 STR booster to activate it by turn 2, it still wouldn't be worthwhile for 99% of pets to use.

I looked over Vintage Prodigy and he seems to have the exact same weapons as Prodigy, he just has less stats. He's a little tough, but you should be fine with your stats :P

Here's the guide for Menecuda. Probably best to use a combo of ME, Natasha, and MW (or Prodigys Eyeball). Freezing isn't going to be possible after the first turn, but you can be frozen so be sure to use some Parched mods.

[edit] 😂 I do hope it can get a boost. I don't think it's a bad idea for a weapon, the defense is just abysmal.

P.S. You can absolutely activate it by turn two, but I'll let you figure out how :P

Thanks for the info! So it's not really worth going out and buying one, I'll just wait and see if it maybe gets released again during Masquerade. It would probably just go in my wardrobe anyway. :P
