Given what you've said, I would use this order for weapons:

I put Reviver of the Lion on the first turn so it will give you a heal. If you own a Shinwas Temple Shard, Rainbow Vortex, or Amulet of Neutrality, I would replace the Reviver with one of those instead just because they are full blockers, which will help you survive the first turn. If not though, the Reviver should do a decent job.

You're welcome! I think a full blocker like Rainbow Vortex on the first turn is ideal because he can hit very hard and nobody enjoys a OHKO, haha. The Simple Catoblepas Wheeley Toy will give you a 100% freeze too, so together they will make sure you get a second turn where you can blast one of his weapons with the Recycle Blaster and start an ongoing curse with the Captured Eternal Flame.

At that point, people usually like to try chain freezing with freezing scrolls like Shriek of Despair (dropped by Nightlady during Morstide) and Psycho Smasher (achievement prize for beating General Error 10 times). Since I believe you said you only have Holy Deluge, I would try Gelaspell Scroll if its within your budget. It has a chance to freeze while also doing some damage each time you use it. However, it doesn't have a heal on it so I would use the Holy Deluge when your health gets too low.

i defeated the stomper once so far but the achievement stays at 0/5 wins

not sure if i overlooked that post just curious about it - lets say i only get to 3 million damage this year against the hydragellos this year does it get reset to zero again next year or do i start at my three million damage then and will i once in a few years or so be able to gain a core ??

It has to be done all in one year. Next year everyone gets reset to zero. Except your achievement progress, that stays.
