Should I be geneteching to get the new slappy hand or leaving it as a dark blocker (the only other dark blocker I have is the gel slayer).

If you have a concoction, I'd make ME first for sure. Dark is much more common at higher tiers. Although the MSH is nice with its earth and physical block.

You can do it! I would go for Maniacal Essence first, you can buy Ether and OHS for a physical and an earth blocker like the Slappy Hand.

For scrolls: Can be in any order, with Perilous Whirlpool always taking the last spot. If your battle lasts more than 7 turns on average, you can drop PW plus a freezing scroll for Gelaspell, but you can choose to have the battle to last shorter for a much quicker flow.

With this, you will just need to keep hitting the Submit turn button. You can open an Event tab with your pet Haneul selected from the drop box, but never click on the Battle with Default button. Instead, use the combo command Ctrl + left click, and the battle will open on another tab. That way you won't have to go to the Event tab again and select the opponent after healing. When you lose the battle, click on Heal link on the same page then quickly close the tab without having to wait for the page to load, and Ctrl click the Battle with Default button from the readily open Event tab again.

When you can freeze the Hydra, you can switch to Cronus + Anchor for the increased freeze chance, but if you think time is running short, just ME and Cronus will do. Both ME and Cronus can have curses, so don't bother with other weapons that don't offer the same advantage, unless they are for freezing. When freezing is lifted, you can switch to using the RV. Don't use AoN, as it might not break, which means you will have extra clicking to do.

*Note: If your battle lasts more than 8 turns on average, always use Mecha over the other bombs. If it tends to be shorter than 8 turns, always go for bombs rather than Mecha. I'll lend you my Acorn Bomb in a minute.

Oh, then make the MSH! It's a pretty neat little weapon. The core is restricted with its no heal.

I would honestly not bother using the mecha, considering blessings are disabled and it only does 8 icons a turn. Depending on how many turns you go through, it might be better to go for another bomb.

I meant I don't have a very good light blocker, unless I keep my core (that I get this war) as is.

What about Dark Goddess Rod for light blocking instead?

I've done 13,619 damage over 156 battles and seeing the numbers other people've achieved has made me realise how pathetically tiny that is.

Don't feel too bad! Keep in mind these are really dedicated battlers, and most of the people here have Tier 12-13 pets and some of the best weapons on the site, so the data is kind of skewed lol. We all have to start somewhere :)

There are different levels of prizes so everyone gets something for trying. I think your pet is only T2 though? We can give you advice if you'd like to train him up more. Start with the Training Center and Battle Quests everyday, those help the most.

My biggest problem is that I'm a scatterbrain with a bad memory, and I'm always doing ten things at once, so I always forget that training and battling even exist... Until something like this comes along and makes me realise how unprepared I am.

The same thing happens to a lot of people :P Battling is also overwhelming at first since there's so much to learn and do and there are other less daunting things on the site 😂 But if you stick with the TC and BQs everyday, your pet will grow faster than you realize.
