1st move Helmet and RV: 176 damage 2nd move: ME and Eyeball and Psycho Smasher: 1268 damage 3rd: Eyeball and Swashbuckle and Psycho Smasher: 1206 damage 4th: Eyeball and ME and Perilous Whirlpool: 1252 damage 5th: Eyeball and ME and Perilous Whirlpool: 2220 damage 6th: Eyeball and Swashbuckle and Shriek: 2071 Damage

The above damage seems to change each time.

Can you try out these sets? You might need to borrow some weapons if you havent got them ready in your armory though. Set 1: Scientist Specs + Temple Shard 2 heaviest hitting weapons, preferrably ME and Cronus. If no Cronus, I recommend Shadowglen Anchor. RV, bombs, blasters. Then as many freezing scrolls as your AP allows.

I haven't tried any set with blasters, but can test tomorrow if you want some reassurance that they're worth putting in your set. Why Shard over RV for 1st move? Because RV comes with a chance to freeze, so I wouldn't waste it with a 100% freezer. Why Specs over Helmet? Helmet is more defensive and blessing is disabled anyway, so Specs being an offensive freezer is actually better for boss battles. Why Shadowglen Anchor? It blocks magma (so blocks same icon type as Cronus), boosts strength (like Cronus) and comes with a chance to freeze (plus 4 mod slots).

Set 2: Specs + Shard, ME + Anchor, a high freeze chance weapon + RV, bombs (if yoh have Cronus, or can borrow ine, use it over Anchor) Plus as many freezing scrolls as your AP can afford. Let me know how the battle goes for you.

Oh I almost forgot, I use only Singed and crit crystals. Geanted, I've been away for almost two years so my knowledge about new mod is near zero. Do correct me if there are now better mods than Singed.

i only needed two more wins on stompies (i was at 8 yesterday), but i hadn't done much beyond ten on the wizards! no loot on the achievement left me with little motivation x: but now that i'm all done with the hydra (or at least, now that i don't want to fight the hydra), i figure i may as well make some progress on the achievement!

perilous whirlpool is garbage Blasters are going to be bad too don’t do it. They drop your damage a ton the turn you use them and you only have like a 1/16 chance of them extending the battle a single turn...

For some reason I thought you were loaded up with freezing scrolls. Tell me how much so you have free and I’ll send you enough freezing scrolls to fill up the rest of your ap.

Why are you using the eyeball? It’s much worse than swash. Also now that we know that hydragellos tooth is a god weapon against the hydra, ME plus Tooth is probably the best combo since all the icons will stack.

The strategy should be: STs freeze + Morosbane scroll ME + tooth + freezer scroll ME + tooth + freezer scroll ME + tooth + freezer scroll ME + tooth + freezer scroll ME + tooth + freezer scroll ME + tooth + freezer scroll ME + tooth + freezer scroll

Then mix in healers or bombs as available.

You should be doing 20k damage per battle easy with that strategy.

Then the other let would be to make sure your weapons are set up in a way you can autopilot them. You should pretty much never need to take you hand off the move button. It’s probably faster to sacrafice a few rounds per battle if the battles only take 6-8 seconds.

You should also set up links to heal your pet and to rechallege the hydra. For my t7 that gets in 5 rounds per battle, an entire cycle of battling and healing takes a total of 6 seconds.

sadly im only at ~55 wins with each, i've been slowly creeping up to 75 but definitely not there yet, especially with healing disabled on daemon. and yep, i've done: gorgun + phoenix + cobalt acorn bomb + ih bomb + perilous whirlpool augmented + fruit bone

that's best case where it freezes both times + i survive the first hit. I also have the flayed breastplate, but then i cant heal turn one :'D need to think about this a bit. are there any more obtainable freezy scrolls atm?

Well, with the 6 Cold blast that Velociraptor lent me, I now have 7, plus the one Gelaspell they lent me. With the one Cold Blast I already had in my set, this takes up 124 AP, and I have 9 AP left over (Haneul has 133 AP).

I was using the weapons I had...I actually didn't know the tooth was a god weapon, is this new news?

HYDRAGELLOS DAMAGE TRACKER 2019 Haruhi Suzumiya 15,199,702 In 250 losses. About 1/2 from last year (if i remember right) all the 50+ rounds helped i think.
