Appearance: They are small and slender and it’s impossible to tell if they are male or female. They have mid-back length hair that is naturally white with orange and black streaks/patches laced throughout that is usually pulled up into a ponytail so it’s out of the way. They have warm hazel-blue eyes that seem more watery than usual. They have a series of orange and black colored freckles that are mostly dominant on their back, but do scatter everywhere else. Toru tends to wear comfy, gender-neutral clothes in warm colors and black when not wearing their uniform. They often have a pencil or quill behind their ear for drawing and forget it’s there. Personality: Toru is currently in a very gender-fluid stage of their lives, they prefer to go by they/them pronouns at this time (this might change in the future). They are very shy and introverted and vary rarely speaks. It’s been rumored that they are mute since they do sign, but that’s not the case. They are easy to cry and can be emotionally overwhelmed by other people, especially extroverts and big personalities. However, if you do manage to befriend them, they are a very warm and caring person. Loves art, especially drawing, and swimming, and has a beautiful singing voice, but never uses it. They also drink a lot of water, which is a trait of their heritage. They have an EXTREME FEAR OF CATS, which is problematic since so many students favor them as pets. Toru an excellent target for bullies since they don’t ever fight back and rarely stand up for themselves. Bio: Toru was born in Britain to Japanese immigrants, a half-merperson witch named Manami and a wizard named Haru who both attended Mahoutokoro School of Magic who moved to England to open a imported goods store. They often spend summers and holidays in Japan with their family, and is especially close to their mother’s father, a Merman who lives in a lake near their grandmother’s house. Toru can understand Mermish but cannot speak it, and therefore learned sign language to communicate with their grandfather. Toru was home schooled most of their life, since in elementary school they sang in music class and put everyone into a siren trance. Since they were secluded for most of their childhood they are extremely introverted and have a hard time making friends with others, and were hesitant at attending Hogwarts. However, they have enjoyed almost everything about the Wizarding School (except for all the cats.) They have made good friends with the Selkies in the lake and likes to spend their free time down there if they have no other obligations. Goals: To be more assertive and to swim the English channel.

All though she is very sweet and friendly, she also does not tolerant bullies or anyone who tries to hurt someone she cares about. She is very intelligent and has a good sense of humor Bio: Amelia Tudor was born and raised in London, England to a pure-blood father and a German Muggle woman. Her father fought in the Battle of Hogwarts and is now a healer who specializes in Dragon Pox and her mother operates a bakery. She began showing signs of being a witch with empath abilities at a young age. She has always been very intelligent and witty, so her father had expected her to be placed into his former house, Ravenclaw, but was shocked when the Sorting Hat placed her in Hufflepuff. They quickly realized she was a true Hufflepuff. Her long-time best friend and now boyfriend, Emmett Keller, works at Gringotts bank as a Curse Breaker and two enjoy spending quality time together and the two are looking forward to curse breaking adventures in the future. Goals: To become a curse breaker and explore the world with her boyfriend.

Appearance: Extremely tall at 6'3 (and growing!), and muscular due to her preferring to work off pent up emotion by exercising. Her natural build is broad of shoulders and very solid, with slightly too long of limbs and enormous hands, giving her a lanky appearance. She is covered in vitiligo, giving pale patches to her light brown skin. She also has rather a lot of freckles. Her hair in its natural state is brown and coiled, but she likes to play with it, changing the colour, length and texture with magic. It can most often be found as black, silky, and partially shaved. She has muddy brown eyes. Her features are large and harsh.

She's transgender, and hasn't physically transitioned at all, so she looks very masculine and is often misgendered by strangers. She usually prefers feminine looking clothing and styling choices, though. She's pretty interested in fashion and wears a lot of black. She dabbles in a lot of different goth and punk subcultures, though her favourites are nu goth, trad goth, and classic punk. She has gauged ears, an industrial bar, and frequently gives herself sharpie tattoos. Her uncle is willing to spend a considerable amount of money on her wardrobe, as he values the ability for her to express her identity. She can get a lot of wear out of pieces by changing their appearance with magic.

Personality: I ran out of character space, so you can read her full personality here. Basically she's an angry, gutsy, soft-hearted punk. She's stubborn as all hell and constantly driven by self-priority and chaotic urges. She's really smart about some things and really dumb about others. She's borderline, autistic, depressed, anxious, and dyslexic. She's extremely paranoid about authority figures. Her leitmotif is Roll Me Through the Gates of Hell by Mischief Brew.

Bio: She grew up in America before moving in with her uncle Valentine Darkhorse, a popular English wizarding crime writer due to her parents neglecting her. This was also truncated due to being too long, you can read the full thing here.

Goals: Civilisation will burn.

For real though, she doesn't usually plan her life more than a week or so ahead. She addresses any questions about what she's going to do with her future either with vague panic or with "I'm going to go become Bigfoot." Her actual plan involves continuing to live with her uncle after she graduates and maybe doing some art of some kind.

She doesn't have any real short term goals either, she just goes where her whims take her.

He feels her company whenever he's immersed into taking care of plants. In Hogwarts he loves herbology, care of magical creatures and Muggle studies classes. He has excellent grades at those subjects, does well enough into others except potions which he has an extra hard time. Goals: Ezekiel dreams to teach herbology at Hogwarts, but also feels very inclined to work at the Magic Ministry bringing wizard and Muggles together. In Hogwarts he works hard to achieve the best grades and sometimes gets frustrated. He dreams to make his dad proud and to continue the work of his mother.

He dislikes it to be compared to others - unless it's someone pointing out how much better he is. He prides himself on being as non-ordinary as he can be, even if others might think different, which makes him seem a bit delusional sometimes. Lorcan is prone to use other people as a sounding board for his own ideas and theories in discussion rather than actual conversation partners and thinks his ideas need to be heard. He's well aware that his behaviour is condescending, but he has little interest in people who do not share his interests or intellect. His way of thinking is abstract, imaginative and objective at the same time which makes him withdrawn in his own restless mind often. His constant thinking makes him have some self-doubts from time to time.

He loathes rules and can be a bit dishonest and even unreliable. However, he can work well with people sharing his enthusiasm and interests and makes a well-working partner. Yet, Lorcan is far more concerned with efficiency than being emotional support. When it comes to relationships, Lorcan does not care about social classes, as he believes that intellect is not only a thing in the upper class. In fact, he prides himself more on his knowledge about his favourite things than blood status. He takes friendship very seriously.

Even though Lorcan hates to admit it, he cares about magical creatures a lot and is very devoted to animals. He enjoys playing the piano and flying on a broom, but he is a bad Quidditch player as he can't trust others to get the job done as good as himself - at least that's what he thinks.

Born to two pure-blood parents - his father a Ravenclaw, his mother an Ilvermorny alumni(Wampus), Lorcan was able to experience magic from a young age. The family lived in London then as both his parents worked there - his mother in diagon alley and his father had a small job at the ministry. When he was 4 years old, Lorcan saw his mother for the last time when she left for work. He remembers his father bursting into their house, packing the family's things and moving to Inishmore, an irish Island with little population in just a few hours. His father told him to never ask about his mother's whereabouts, quit his job at the ministry and now has a little apothecary with owl-service. They also own a second cottage close to the town centre which they use as bed and breakfast for Muggle tourists. The official reason for their move is his father's Irish heritage and even though Lorcan tried to get to the truth, his father stayed unyielding. The boy is not pleased with the lack of information. As his parents severed ties with their own parents, there's no possibility for Lorcan to contact them. She displayed magical behavior at a young age, constantly causing her parents trouble with her inability to control it. When Gwen started to become more aware of her magical abilities, her features started to change without warning. After the first few occurrences, her mother realized Gwendolyn was a metamorphmagus. Gwen has two other siblings; of whom her brother is magical and her sister is still too young to tell. Her parents are very proud of her and her accomplishment of being enrolled in Hogwarts. Bio: Aria’s father and three brothers died during the clan wars when she was a young child (they were great wizards but this was kept a secret from her). The only good thing from this was that the master allowed her to learn to learn to ride horses and take archery and defense lessons alongside the master’s youngest son. She ran from her master's mansion, at the age of 10, after her mother was killed by one of the mercenaries the master would often house and entertain.

Aria puts on the face of bravery but inside she is afraid of many things. She is a very observant and self-reflecting girl with very little in the way of life’s comforts. She has very few friends to whom she is loyal. She has learned that nobody has the right to be trusted; trust (like loyalty) must be earned.

Aria shares a close telepathic bond with her life-companion, Dax, who is a white-tan snowy owl griffin. She allows people think that Dax is just a loyal companion. The other animals with which she can most openly communicate with are magical beasts. The outcast creatures touch her heart the most deeply and she always helps them.

Aria had been living in the streets for years before entering Hogwarts and continued to do so between the terms while in attendance of the school. After a year of learning at Hogwarts, Aria was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Lee and is now lucky enough to have a new brother: Magnus.

[spoiler=Bio and history]Elizabeth lives with her family in Cottenham, a small village, slightly north of Cambridge. They live a bit outside of the village so they can use magic without fearing a Muggle stumbling upon them. Although Cottenham is mainly inhabited by Muggles, there's an undeniable magic around this place. Local legends say that long ago, the village Muggles wanted to build the Church more in the town's centre, but the foundation stones kept appearing in another place. After hearing this legend from her grandfather as a kid, she developed a great interest in books to learn more and accidentally found the locked, old school books of her parents without them knowing(which was actually the first time she used magic: to open the lock). They were quite surprised when they found Elizabeth in the garden with a pile of magic books about two weeks later. Considering her young age, she clearly did only understand few of what was written in these books, but gathering this knowledge while skimming through the books became quite handy at Hogwarts later, remembering things from chapters that were about to come. When Elizabeth was eight years old, she found a small grass snake while on her way to the village, being really excited that it was talking to her. She brought it home, but eventually had to release it as it was considered a wild animal. Her father then told her about the family's heritage. Due to the fact that Parseltongue was associated with the Dark Arts and Voldemort for quite a long time, the Covington family rather stayed silent about their heritage in the Dark times. Elizabeth's father even refused to speak it which makes it difficult for him to actually understand Parseltongue - mostly because the voice of the Basilisk at Hogwarts was haunting him in his early school years (until it got killed in his 3rd year). The origin of Parseltongue in the Covington family lies in the 18th century; where it was simply an illegitimate son(fathered by Head of House Gaunt then, when they were still wealthy and presentable). Although illegitimate children weren't considered a full-part of the family, the boy was approved as a 'real' Covington later when the family needed someone to pass the family name on.

Goals: Become well-experienced in every possible area of magic and achieve knowledge according to her own standards; for a profession she considers working at the ministry - either at the Department of International Magical Cooperation or the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.[/spoiler]
