I can't wear contacts. I mean I probably could but they wouldn't help. I forgot what they told me but with my vision issue contacts don't work. So annoying too. My vision problems are mostly reading and my sunglasses are prescription but I think cause they'e tinted I can't see well indoors. Like I said it helps to not spend too much when shopping. So I made soup in the soup maker today. (The thing looks like an old fashioned electric coffee pot. ) So I cut up leeks, potatoes and part of an onion, fresh thyme, salt and pepper and broth and threw it all in and set it to "smooth" I could hear the water heating up and sounded like it was boiling. About 10 minutes it let out the loud growl that gave me a heart attack and even my dog took umbrage. :-D So this goes on for 30 minutes and then it beeps it's done. The result: it's pretty damn yummy! :-P I'm on my way now!! ;-)

We're supposed to have snow tomorrow! They did say it would be a non-event though. Ugh! I guess compared to your weather I have it pretty good. lol

Indeed we do.I would love to visit all of Europe. I just only have the money to start visiting locally first lol

Went to specialist, more xrays. wants her to touch her toes alittle but no pressure on that foot while still using crutches. goes back Friday to see if still swollen like it is and they will do a MRI. Taking to long to fix it is what I'm thinking.
