Well, I am not sure where I lived last when we last spoke. But, I ended up moving from Arizona to Indiana, to attempt to build a relationship with my biological father, who at that time (2016) it had been about 30 years since I had seen him in person. I moved there with Koda and Paddington, the two cats I had at the time. in 2018 (October), it just was a dead end, the entire thing. I found a new home for Paddington, and that's when Derek moved me and Koda to Montana. Sadly, seeing as Koda was a senior, he was not able to recover from the move, his heath went downhill, and on January 25th, 2019, I had to have him put down. He was 13 1/2, He was the one I have had since his birth in 2005. On February 9th, 2019, I decided I want to have another kitty, because the coming home to an empty apartment was just not working for me. So, Derek (we were only BF/GF at that time) and I went to the local animal shelter and I found a wonderful little kitty who's name is Amadeus (happens to be Mozart's middle name, and Mozart happens to be my favorite composer). He was 1 1/2 when we adopted him. His birthday is July 29th, he is a Leo. I adore him, and he has greatly helped mend my heart over the loss of Koda. At this time I am not working. I am going through a lot of mental health issues, and am in the process of applying for SS, which I know will be a long, long battle. With the Bi-p 2, clinical depression, severe GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) issues, it has become hard for me to be at a job. So, the process with the SS administration and my psychiatric dr's will be an ongoing process. On April 14, 2019..Derek proposed to me (18th anniversary of the first time we met face to face). He took time away from the Air Force on April 14, 2001, and drove to where I live in Ca to meet me. We started writing to each other in 1996. We have had some up and down moments, but the worst of it happened while we were still engaged, and I know that we can withstand anything. I am turning 40 this year, which I still cannot believe, and he will be 42 in October. Anyhow, that's pretty much a shortened version of the past few years I think. :)

Oh, and on another note, my husband, Derek, is Japanese. I have taken to learning how to make some Japanese foods. I can make Miso soup homemade. It's actually completely simple. I have some Japanese recipes I want to learn to make. His family is fourth generation Japanese in America, so he didn't grow up in Japan, or even learning the language. But he knows phrases and I have picked some of the up, too. :)
