Alright, here's an expansion on my app for Armitage.

He's a robot from one of my stories where a robotic being crash-lands on Earth and is captured/studied by scientists, then escapes. Basically Armitage would be the robot they wind up creating themselves based on the data from the alien, Dash. But Armitage has sentience, since he's created from a sentient being, and starts realizing he doesn't want to just do what he's told anymore (which is be Dash's enemy and recapture him). He defects from the scientists and Dash and his friends are determined to protect him, recognizing him as a sentient being even though he was "created in a lab". While others insist he can't be sentient because he's "not human", Dash pushes that he is also not human, but is sentient, and that "human" and "person" don't mean the same thing! Armitage would struggle to find a place where he belongs, and would probably start wandering, but I'm sure he'll find a place. I'd make him a cadogre for sure. :)
