Seconding 's post- it would've been nice to see some new pride items, but I don't think it's a catastrophy that we didn't. I'm happy to hear that Rah will be releasing new items soon. I've also always found it incredibly fake for companies to just vomit rainbows everywhere for June. I know it is different for everyone, but for me, it feels like pandering. Subeta is friendly to the LGBT+ community as a whole, and will continue to be. Again, what Ryuu said, staff can release items throughout the year, and it'll be in the norm.
Also if people are actually posting anti-pride statuses. Wow. That's pretty despicable, and I pity them. I'm not sure, but seems like it could be reportable potentially. At the very least, the statuses would be cleared.
As an aside- , suggestions can still be feedback. It seems to me that a dialogue should be the goal, of which this board is currently successful.
While its true feedback can come in the form of suggestions, there is an entire forum page dedicated specifically to suggestions, and it even has an open thread right now dedicated to suggesting pride things.
It's worth mentioning, in fact, that Mayday's thread has been open and active since the 2nd of June, right at the start of pride month, and it's got a lot of great ideas in it. But we didn't get any of them for the whole month. So that's yet another confusing thing...
This thread, meanwhile, is direct feedback in regards to something that didn't, but should have happened. I'd really rather not get into an argument over this, either. The point of my comment was to help prevent this thread from becoming just another suggestions thread as opposed to being the critique that it's intended to be. After all, if it becomes a suggestion thread, it could be at risk of being closed or moved to a different place. Hope that clears up my point.

I also don't mean to be rude, but at no point was anything catatrophised, nor did I imply that subeta wasn't LGBT+ friendly, so I don't understand
in regards to big companies using the rainbow flag, I feel its unfair to put subeta up against that, as subeta has and will always be inclusive, whereas the rainbowwashing as its been named is just a corperate ploy to show that they are also 'inclusive' to draw in sales, which is fake.
Again, please don't take this as an attack, or start of an argument, I'm just confused as to where some of your wording has come from.
(I'm also confused as to why the term 'blame' is being used as I didn't accuse anyone of anything, I just was sounding my opinion that an inclusive website was eerily quiet over a very important month of celebration.)
I hear you. I think you have a fair point. Mostly, I just wasn't too keen on your initial post regarding staying on topic- I think it came off more harshly than maybe was intended. Sorry if I misinterpreted. I think feedback comes in many forms, and if this thread was only supposed to be a complaint, then there's a whole other forum for that too. If no more suggestions are wanted, then this board could feasibly be closed as well, since staff has responded.
As another aside, and not to try to lessen your comments, but it's entirely possible that June 2nd, already into the start of Pride Month, is simply kind of late for suggestions. Pride aside, it's like suggesting more Masq items after Masq has already started. Slightly different scenarios, I know. Mostly, I view things like tribute items as incredibly out of the norm releases, with everything else taking a very long time to go through the pipeline. It doesn't excuse the lack of items released on the whole. Full stop. Just generally stating that even with the suggestions it might've just been a tight timeline behind the scenes. I mean, suggestion boards for other holidays sometimes pop up months in advance. Again, it's no excuse, but just wanted to comment on that. I would imagine, for items pride related especially, staff would want to be very mindful/thoughtful in their release approach as well.
I think something was lost in translation here. A lot of my points were in relation to what Ryuu said, and not trying to twist your initial post or anything. I was definitely not trying to compare Subeta to the rainbowwashing corps I see- in fact I thought I was quite explicit that Subeta has never been like that. I meant it to be used in conjunction to the point that Subeta can release pride things elsewhere in the year as well. Also, I didn't use the word blame? Is this in relation to something else?
Overall I agree with the spirit of your post. Truly. Not trying to be combative. I wanted to state my own feedback that I didn't really think too much of the lack of pride items myself, as Subeta has always been pride positive in it's content.
(Also I wanted to further shame the people who posted bad statuses.)
Thank you for clearing that up, I was super confused. I tried wording my OP as level as possible, so I kept re-reading all of my replies to see how I catastrophised it. Mostly, I used subetas last pride to vicariously celebrate in the comfort of my own space, as and i's prides are .... not so good, aha. So, to have nothing was just jarring for the both of us. I know pride isn't limited to one month, and I fully support pride being a 100% all the time thing, but june is a time where visibility is a big thing, so it was odd that subeta was quiet on that front. I hope this clears up my view on things.
I also am deeply ashamed of all the negative statuses I saw, it was .... really something to read some of them, and some of the tirades others went on. Quite amazing that people still hold such a closeminded opinion when its 2019, eh?
Absolutely! I definitely understand. I appreciate how level headed the convo was. :) And I am happy to hear from Rah that more items are coming. It's a shame that more didn't happen. But bright thoughts for the future!
Also I really would report those statuses. I've seen profiles get cleared for having nasty content on it, so statuses shouldn't be any different. Sorry to hear though. Doesn't make it okay to see in the first place.
What is this BLT and why are people so proud of these sandwiches.
... I keep deleting my comment because I keep rambling. To put it shortly: I love the staff, in which there are multiple LGBT+ members, I love that they release random stuff throughout the year no matter what, and I look forward to what may come.
And as for any hate-filled people, hi.

Gunna echo what a lot of others have said - its sad we didn't get any Pride items for this June, but I am hopeful for the future!
If you're anti lgbtqia+ then what the h e double hockey stick are you doing on a site CREATED and RAN by members of that?? People are stupid man.
Bathory is hungry for MORE MORE I SAY. - If you think you are unattractive just remember you look like your ancestors, and hey all of them got laid-
i honestly have no idea, but there was a certain trending hashtag about taking the rainbow back that was in quite a few users statuses. and i'm sitting like "....you're on possibly the most LGBT+ friendly pet site ever??"
Sounds like staff were just really busy this past month, it happens! And while June is pride month, pride doesn't have to only exist then. My city actually has our pride event in September! And it feels kinda fake when companies only recognise LGBTA+ rights one month out of twelve. I'm glad subeta is here for us year round c:
ugh people. The rainbow is for everyone it represents us all. I actually just made a spectrum blob named Roy G Biv to stuff all my pride/rainbow things into it's TC.

Things certainly have changed around here if people are that petty and spiteful.
Seconding liking Pride stuff all year round. Corporations aren't ethical and neither are their weak attempts to be "woke".
Absolutely. I was referencing your post and my own experience. Subeta is not the place to be if you're not LGBTQIA+ friendly, tbph.

I was only kind of disappointed since Subeta doesn't usually do anything for Pride so I wasn't expecting much. But it would be wonderful if we did start doing something (it doesn't have to be a full event, since it would be right between Vesnali and Neugarten, but new items or putting rainbows into the maps or something would be lovely).
I didn't come across any of those statuses myself, but perhaps a reiteration that Subeta is a site for all people and certain speech/behaviour is not tolerated would not go amiss.
Reading this thread some more and hearing about this I'm kind of in the same boat. I didn't see any statues doing anti-LGBTQ+ stuff or saying like "where's the straight stuff?" but then again I'm a bit of a hermit and don't really read peoples statues except by accident usually so I'm also not surprised I missed it if it was happening. I do think a reminder that Subeta is friendly to all and such would be a great thing to put out as a reminder from the staff just in general though, since I think sometimes people forget.
Also I kind of agree that while Rah is taking responsibility, it shouldn't fall on them alone. The staff work as a team, and it is somewhat confusing that we had a bunch of revamps but not a single pride item and I feel like that's the fault of the team not an individual. I'm all for releasing pride items year round, but some acknowledgement of pride month would still have been nice.
Given all the content we've gotten this month (new battle coliseum challenger, item revamps, new quest shop items, new Neugarten items, etc), I'm not surprised there was't much pride stuff as well.
I do love what we did get though :>
I agree that it was underwhelming and could have been better. I'd love to see a full-on pride event (similar to bug hunt maybe. Pride hunt.) and smaller pride apparel (or backgrounds!) would be great.
Since Subeta's doing pride all year this year, I think some kind of late pride event/apparel collection down the road would function as both a pleasant apology (for lack of a better word) and a late "pride event".
I'm all for an actual PRIDE event or celebration <3
EDIT:
As for the people surprised about "anti LGTBQ" stuff, you totally missed when they released the sashes... Holy moley.
