Hi and welcome and ! I tend to disappear over the weekends, but check subeta every day. I still play on Neo, though mostly just special events and I bet food club almost daily. I also still own a very inactive guild, but we still get a few posters here and there. It was founded by someone else way back in 2001, so I like to keep it alive at least.

I grew tomatoes and zucchini this year. (Purple Cherokee are my very favorite btw.) Mine did horrible though. I'm getting cherry tomatoes (yellow and red), but have only got 4 edible larger tomatoes from my 6 other plants! And, apparently my Cherokee Purple plant was mislabeled because it's ... not purple. I think next year I may need to switch to containers or completely dig out and refresh my veggie garden. And this has been about my 4th or 5th time trying to grow zucchini - plants do wonderful and have lots of flowers, but never any fruit. :(

Nice to meet you! Mom's cucumbers and zucchinis didn't get pollinated this year, so we didn't have any either.
Her lettuce has down well, but that's about all for this year. Such a shame!

I even tried cross-pollinating the flowers myself this year and last - with Qtips, lol, but still no zucchini. This year I learned the difference between male and female flowers and apparently didn't have any female ones, which are the ones that actually grow the fruit.

I never liked zucchini growing up but we eat so much of it now, especially as a pasta replacement.

Hope everyone is having a good week so far. Yesterday and today were difficult (I have health problems), so it's nice to escape for a while. I hate it took me so long to find Subeta!

We're fighting fleas here, for the first time ever, and it's a nightmare. I had a stray in the house for about 20 minutes while I put her in the carrier and apparently she left some here. One of my cats is miserable, his personality has even altered. We've got advice from the vet on how to kill them in the house, but in the meantime it's making us all ill in some way or another! Send your positive thoughts my way!
