what cruise items are even rare that arent in the antique shop already?

I wasn't there for it but I think most of the items were achievement prizes which aren't put into that shop for some reason, I think they meant they're planning on giving us other ways to get retired achievement items from that.

none of them are expensive though. the most expensive one is like 3mil.

I really don't mind having monthly updates, but I will miss seeing you guys weekly. T-T At least there WILL be updates (unlike with another game I'm playing where the staff doesn't like criticism, doesn't listen to user suggestions, and basically acts like a 5 year old. And no, it's not neopets, lol)

ngl I'm a little sad that the update roll will be monthly instead of weekly because I'm a nerd and I love reading about all the little tweaks and fixes you guys make. Still, if it's for the sake of giving you guys more time to forge fun new things (pet profile HYPE), I'm absolutely okay with it.
