Yes, exactly - one day at a time is all you can do! I have a mantra I say: "Just have to survive this 5 minutes right here." After those 5 min are over then I move on to the next 5.
OH how fun an engagement party! I love those! :D Congratulations to her and the happy couple/family! I am glad that you like them all and will hopefully get along. ^^ In-law troubles are the worst. :(

I really really extremely want:Day 843 a carnival ticket.
Hustler ran off with 20k, but got in an RE.
My youngest brother came by and invited me to lunch. This place called Panda Burger, he wants to see if I can handle it.
You tossed your into the rift and a moment of calm is followed by a flash of red lightning, before the rift shoots out !
Best trade so far!
Thank you. There was only one and I just couldn’t resist it but I see it’s unlimited now. :D
Calendar days are closer than they appear! [item=mocking clock]
I can see why. :) My gray kitty wasn't the last one, but I couldn't resist it, either. XD
I may have to borrow your mantra.
So, , how was the restaurant? What was your brother questioning if you could handle; and did you??

It's a small gourmet burger joint. He learned the plate he wanted me to try the Panda Challenge, is a huge pile. We decided to have the next biggest, the Double Panda. A eight inch thick monster thing. It had two patties, homemade chorizo, diced steak, a fried tortilla with cheese, and half an avocado.
I could handle it...I'm still hungry. My borther needs to rest.
I do want to try the challenge, but I doubt finishing within the time limit.
[edit]Tempest has descended from above in order to play! You receive a storm item so she can get close enough to give you a MIGHTY BEAR HUG.
Dang, that's alot of food. I shudder to think what the challenge burger is. :O
LOL Good for you!
How long do you have to eat it?

The challenge is to shudder, it's like eating two of the Double Pandas. I think you're given half an hour.
The funny thing is, I took my time with the Double. But the waitress commented "That was fast!".
You know, it really does work so you should steal it! Sometimes it's all I can do to handle the present moment and make it through. SO taking it in smaller minutes really helps. Especially because for me I know the worst pains usually last around 30 min, so I just have to make it through a few sets of 5. :)

I really really extremely want:8 days in a row! You found 2 QuestPoints Rift: You tossed your Blob Kitty into the rift and an immediate flash of red lightning shoots out, along with your new item, Rift Blob Kitty. (18/25) Hustler: Cute Maleria Sticker Zapper: •Your pet gained 1 in Speed! •Your pet's minion was transformed into a
I am a good mother in law. not great, I don't anticipate every need or hover, but I am friendly and welcoming and love my in-law children. One of my son in laws was convinced I am NUTS, but all I can hope for is that he thinks that in a good way. They stay over about once a month, so I think we are okay. ;) Yours is a good mantra. I always forget the one-liners I think would help.
You handled the Panda Burger! My son won second place in a food contest. He said they would have disqualified him if they had seen that after he left, he chucked his cookies. But he got far enough away I guess. The speed one has to eat to win.... wow!
Hey there. How are you doing these days?
Yes, that sounds like you are an excellent mother in-law! Sometimes no matter how great, kind, thoughtful, and loving you are though, drama comes about. For example, in my family it has happened where one of the in-law families does not like my family but my brother's actual spouse DOES like our family. So it's strange. I really hope that you can have continually good relationships with all the families involved. In my opinion there never is a reason for drama but some people thrive on it and need it, so they create it from nothing. :( Yes, simple mantras are good to keep in mind. And then sometimes all you can do is pray and hope that you don't explode from pain!! LOL So far I have not exploded. :P

I really really extremely want:I used to generate a LOT of drama but I am getting better. Just with my husband who drives me nuts when we are together for more than 2 hours. Good thing we never decided to work together LoL Wonderful that you haven't exploded! Exploding is awful and very messy to clean up. Your migraine has gone away?
OH yes hubbies are good at that. nods nods Working together would be bad if you get on each-others nerves. My dad gets annoying to my mom because he does not listen. Does your hubs do anything in particular?
Exploding is so awful! I like to tell people that yes my migraines "go away" but in really truth they do not go away. They just go down in level of intensity. So for example, right now I am just dizzy and having waves of dizziness hit me randomly. My pain is not super high yet. I am sure that'll come later. I have at least 3-4 migraines every day, without fail. So Generally when I am on here it is between bouts of when I feel worse. :-) OR when it is not too hot to turn on my projector to be on subeta.
I just feel lucky when my pain does not go higher than a 7 at some point by the end of the day - that is a good day.

I really really extremely want:no, he's just a guy. A nice guy. At work the afternoon program is really small right now, so we eat together. I told one of the younger men with whom I work that there are easier table cloths (plastic) to open than the ones they were struggling with. They said there were not. I said Okay, and go the easy ones. Then I was mumbling about amazing phenomena in nature and he asked: the men or the women? and I said the differences between them. ;) That sucks about the migraines ALL the time. Could it be something fixable, like needing glasses or something like that? What do the doctors say? It's not the way you are supposed to feel ALL the time! :(
Hey. :) I'm good. Hope you are. HUGS

Day 844
If I were hungry enough I could finish the Panda Challenge. I ate one and a half steak subs a few days ago. Like I said to PinkSapphire, I was still hungry after finishing...
Two more days house sitting, I wonder what my sister might bring me from their trip. She texted me about my sizes and what characters I like...
That is funny that they were stubbornly not listening to you and ignoring your advice. Yo showed them! It's a strange phenomenon that a lot of men do (I am being ironic here) - they tend to ignore women and think they are ignorant/stupid. At least many of the guys I have run into do that. shrug What can you do?
Unfortunately the drs all just tell me to avoid my trigger -- which is nearly impossible. :( I'm on the most new and best medicine for treating the type of chronic migraine I have (it is a once monthly injection). The medicine helps to make most of my days have pain less than 5 but it does not cure or prevent the occurrence of migraines (there is no medicine on earth that does that yet).
We've tried everything but for my trigger there is no way to avoid it except to close my eyes against it since it is not the brightness, wavelength, or something you can alter with a viewing frame. The cause is the flicker rate of all non-fire-type-light sources. So I can safely view sunlight, firelight, and incandescent light bulb light, that is it. All other lights cause me to have migraines (LED, Fluorescent, Sodium lights, lasers, etc.)
So I just do my best, but it's nearly impossible, so I always have migraines. :( And the dr said that because I keep having them it weakens my nervous system and makes me more susceptible to having more, which is why I keep having more and more.

I really really extremely want:That's exactly what my first neurologist said was causing my seizures. Now, supposedly, they've changed. But yeah...those dang lights.

Got a lame trade at the Rift...
But...Tempest descended upon me and gave me for Tesla's treasure. How lovely ❤
Yes stupid lights! Yes, you seem to actually get it! ^^ Most people don't understand what I mean when I say that the light causes my migraines. They ALWAYS assume I mean that light makes my migraine worse (so I must hide in a dark room). However, that is not the case for me (the hiding). In my case, it's like what was suspected for your seizures, the light is the actual cause of sickness.
I am sorry you have seizures. :( And I am sorry that lights mess with you too. So do they now think it is a different cause for the seizures?
Public Ping Group - Xanadu Galleria and RAE Collab
I really really extremely want:The new doc just says they're frontal lobe seizures. I'm not sure if he thinks they're still triggered by the lights or not. But they aren't grand mals anymore, which I like! XD
