Inspired by my mother, I'm taking the rest of the week to take out my too big bed, and replace it with a sofa. I don't need much space to sleep alone.

I was timely to restrain my activities here, way too much errors and lag. We'll see how this folds out in January.

The Brokenwood Mysteries are so darn great! We can watch then on NZonDemand if you haven't seen them. It's been a while but I do recall the Leonids meteror showers as been part of the plot in the first episode. Its really good to enjoy a series that has many familiar faces in it 🌼

Hello :) Thank you popping in! It’s great to see you always. I had a thankful day, though I’m feeling a bit under the weather because of the heat. We have a lot of haze here from the bushfires around Australia too. But I’m thankful that I’m safe from them and My family and friends are too.

Thanksgiving will be next Thursday (the 28th). For us, it's the fourth Thursday in November. I'm not 100% sure why Thursday was chosen as the day, but that's what it has been since the mid-1800s. I'm so looking forward to it! :)

I used a day bed most of my single years, and it doubled as a sofa. It was nice to save that bit of room and yet have a dual functionality. Sofas are so nice these days, so it shouldn't be a bit of a problem and give you more space!

Agreed about the lag/down time -- and too funny about "it's my party"!
