There's a Street Festival in the City, It started today and will go on for a couple of weeks. Not only that it's the fa la las, Deck the halls and Jingle jingle is the coins in my pocket saying..." That will teach ya " o.o Summer Holidays 😀 Yes our Chistmas is Summer! BBQs, Surfing, Singing, Beaches, Beer, Dancing day and night. Will go up to the Hawkes Bay( East Coast of North Island). I love it there. Our family farm is also there, The Wahi Falls is our back boundary. All the Summer constellations are shifting in! Going off grid while there Ahhh Blisss. 🍺 I like to go further up to Hastings (Fruit pick for extra money) and then to Napier. Napier is another coastal city but it's Art Deco.

What are you guys doing for Christmas? Any plans? Snowboarding, Skiing? Feasting and Gathering? Hibernating?? o.O Do share:)

Abrazos =) We don't do much for Christmas.We try to pick food we haven't had in a while to eat like Lasagna,garlic bread or maybe prime rib. We're not big ham eaters. So after the gifts are opened it's eat-sleep,eat-sleep, wait! wait! sleep-eat Hahaha 😉 We don' put our tree up until Thanksgiving is over.Some people have they're decorations up way to early & lite.I can see putting them up while the weather is still somewhat good.but wait for Dec. to light them up.I love looking at Christmas decorations people put up.We usually go riding in the car to go see them.Our Zoo It's about a mile down the street.They Light the whole Zoo up.It's absolutely Beautiful.They have done this for years. :D I'm doing fine Thank You.I hope the rest of school goes by fast for you.Congratulations on your 4 school awards for school that's AWESOME. =) Day114 -- You found 1 Referral Point in the pool!

So, this day was not much...

To unwind I'm making chili cheese brats. And spend some time with my friends, Jack and Coke.

Though as a finish, between my vault, shop till and whats on me I start the month with 100 Megs.

Where have I been!! All these months training my pets, and almost all of them are tier 2...I suppose I could top off the few left, and give that a rest until 2020.

The Spring Boks won the Rugby World Cup! South Africa 32, England 12. I'm glad the cup gets to stay in the Southern Hemisphere at least. Congratulations South Africa! You played is very good final. I think the Roses loss because they got a tad bit smug. Don't underestimate the Boks. They are among the top 3 Teams in the world. New Zealand, South Africa and Australia. The next world cup is in 2023 and will be hosted by France. Tankcou Japan, You were fantastic hosts even if the Rugby Nation drank your country dry haha! 🍺

Did you in the US remember last night was the end of Daylight Savings Time and set back your clocks? I will admit it. . . it was a total surprise to me when the computer changed the time. I'd been telling myself all week not to forget, and yet I did!

Yesterday's replies and chattiness disappeared somehow, and I was too disgusted and discouraged over it to type it again. Today is a fresh new day, though, so here I am trying it again!

Yay for street fairs! What all will happen? Music, crafts, food? In my hometown, we had one yearly the last weekend in July and it was such fun. It began to gather a larger crowd than the medium-sized city could handle, though, and they finally canceled it. I have wonderful memories of it, though.

Your Christmas plans sound wonderful! I don't start thinking Christmas until after Thanksgiving (last Thursday in November). Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday (after birthdays), and so I'm in full planning mode for it, ordering my turkey and planning with Mom what we'll make. We celebrate it with my family, and as I'm an only child, it's just the four of us. (Probably one of the reasons it's my favorite holiday.) Bryan's family will have around 20 people crowding around, elbow to elbow, with the noise level at least 100 decibels louder than I can handle. They just can't understand why we would choose to have such a small celebration and always try to persuade me to bring my parents and eat there. No thanks! Our meal will be peaceful, relaxing and totally delicious! (Christmas breakfast with the in-laws, not so much. . . )

Your Christmas sound like my in-laws, though it's only three generations for them at present. When you find a life-partner, make sure it is not someone who is an only child and unused to so many people at one time! Bryan's family all have a marvelous time, while I try to hide in the corner. 😆 I nearly died of shock at my first holiday with them. One on one, I generally like them, they are nice people, but taken as a whole. . . . Ai eeee!

That's great that your grandparents are coming for Christmas! Do you get to see them often?

You mentioned it was cold in your part of the world. Are you enjoying it or do you prefer warmer weather? Friday night we had our first light frost, and this morning the bird water bowls had a little ice on top.

We don't get much snow here in East Tennessee, either, despite being in the mountains. Just over the ridge, in my hometown in Western North Carolina, it snows a lot, with a good deal of accumulation, and I loved it. I've lived here 18 years and still haven't adjusted to the lack of snow!

Your nontraditional Christmas dinner sounds like a great idea! And I agree, people put out their Christmas decorations way too early! I don't decorate until right after Thanksgiving. I enjoy using my autumn/Thanksgiving décor all through November. In October I use pumpkins as my decorating theme, and in November, it's leaves and thankful/grateful type things. Do you do much decorating for any of the holidays? (I change out my mantle and two living room shelves every month with a different theme.)

I've lived in this desert for over 30 years, and I developed a taste for cold weather. In my experience I saw that conserving body heat is easier than trying to cool down. We get occasional freezing, any snow is restricted to the mountains.

I've found a book I've been eyeing for some time, K-Pax by Gene Brewer. It shed some light, I didn't know there was sequel.
