Looks like I'll need to change my bass' strings. I do have a set, but I may need to also perform cleaning.

I'm home after a five hour round trip drive. Happily, I didn't have to go alone after all. Now I can say "I did the thing!", be proud of myself for managing it, and take a nap!

Do you play electric bass guitar? Or stand-up bass? I played viola in our local youth symphony in high school. I would love to go back to it, just for the pure pleasure of making music happen.

I have two electric basses, one is my old starter the other my sinister axe. But I've fallen out of practice, and wothout my PS3 to use Rocksmith I don't see myself playing again anytime soon.

I believe in December would 1,000 fall.

Sounds like a great day! Do you have only the one niece? Will you have a big family coming together for Thanksgiving on Monday? I have a cousin who is young enough to be a niece instead, and I had the best time with her when she was young. Things changed once she hit those near-teen years, and she wasn't as great company, lol, but when she was little it was a joy to find ways to spend time with her. Makes me nostalgic!

I tried to learn to play acoustic guitar, to accompany myself singing and for use in the classroom, but it was a dismal failure. It is SO different from the stringed instruments I can play. I'm really jealous of those that can!

I chose bass because, well...who cares about the bassist? Southpaw'd on top of that...But well, my maternal grandfather played an upright.

I intend on paying for only two, and The Almighty.

[edit] I got 50 CSC in the pools today, which gave me enough to change my pet's name. I didn't realize when I signed up that the pet names could be more than one word. I had wanted Vlad, or even Taltos, after a favorite character and both were taken. Now, I've been able to give him the character's full name!

You notice a Kizzy on the ground, but right when you bend down to pick it up, lizard minions come out of nowhere and scurry off with it!

Your trap springs and you spray like mad as the lizard minions escape. They will not get away this time! You place Kizzy into your inventory.

It seems like a very long time since the lizards visited me....

Hello all. It’s been super busy today. We got a new foster dog, after th last one had left. It was quite a surprise today! He’s a fox terrier (not miniature, like Radar) and his name is Sam. He’s really cute. I may have to get a good picture of him, but he moves around A LOT. He’s an active dog!

I have just the one niece, yep! She's about a year and a half and MAN, she's cute. I could just eat her for breakfast. She was so taken with my fiance yesterday it was so cute to watch them giggle together and run around. I have to work today, but tomorrow we're going to do a meal with my fiances family. He has just one sister and then his parents C: I think we're going to do some makeshift engagement photos too!

I was able to greet my aunts, otherwise it was like any other trip. I agree about Chibi 2759, all I want to change is her coloration to Marsh, and flip to port.

I was able to keep up because for the last three years I've been out of any business that would occupy my time. I plan on keeping with this even during the next semester.

Hope you have a great dinner tomorrow with your soon-to-be in-laws! Have you guys been together long enough to make you comfortable with his family? I'm an only, but we still do Thanksgiving with my parents, and just have a small celebration. My husband's extended family is large, and holidays are anywhere from 12 to 20 people, and I just can't handle that for a meal! Too stressful! We had only been dating six months when we got married (18 years ago), and I was still unaccustomed to his family that first Christmas. I thought I was going to die from the noise, crush, and heat! Now, I just find a corner to settle in, and anyone can come to me if they want to chat. 😆

Any sort of achievement once you reach 1000 days? That takes some diligence! I haven't missed a day since I started in August -- you make me want to keep it up!

Yep! We've been together 7 and a half years now.. so I've been around for my share of family dinners xP Wow! That's certainly a transition if you're used to being just you and your parents!
