The name I chose suggests its disposition. My process has it's quirks. In some cases they're famous southpaws, for example, my Nidorino is Charlemagne. Here, my is Jackie DeSalvo. And there is Ahkoum, an intentional misspelling of Occam.

I didn't remember that Charlemagne is credited with being left-handed! (My B.A. is in history, but I focused on 18th and 19th century Britain.) I don't know who Jackie DeSlavo is, though. Occam, I do know, and I like that spelling. It feels so mysterious spelled that way.

He was illiterate, very suitable for a southpaw. Being port isn't a big part of history, in some cases there is little proof. Jackie DeSalvo is a mashup of two sinister fiends, Jack the Ripper, and Albert DeSalvo. My fursona has an AI also named Ahkoum[sub]778[/sub], who a fragment of a much bigger AI.

I would have thought that, since it tends to be rare and would have been considered bizarre centuries ago, that there would be more documentation of left-handed historical figures. I guess most were forced into right-handedness, so it wasn't really known?

Switching is still done today, though an odd thing is my parents never tried. So three out of the four children are sinister.

I'm an only child so I don't have any on my side, but I've got four nephews and two nieces on my husband's side. They were all in school by the time I came on the scene, though, so I didn't get to enjoy any babies. I was a special ed preschool teacher for some time, though, so I know and love the toddler age.

Six nieces is a goodly number! Do you have lots of siblings, too?

I have 3 nefews and 3 neices. Hope be my 4th. :) I have a sister,brother,brother in law,sister in law and a stepdad. :) as well as my mom and dad.

I have two younger brothers and an older sister. The middle brother is the sole dexter.

won't be this year. My brother is seeing his wife's parents. Than my mom and stepdad are both working christmas day. :( So just be my sister's family,my dad and I.

[-Fall] My husband is working Christmas, too, so we'll be celebrating Christmas Eve instead. We see my parents then, and his huge extended family (20+ people) for Christmas morning breakfast. I'm not good with large groups, so I never enjoy that time. Sadly, we'll end up having time for breakfast, as my husband works second shift. Perhaps I will be ill then! 😆 It really is hard for me!

I did't raise a family, either, though not exactly by choice. I worry who will look after me when I'm old, since I have no one on my side, and those young ones on my husband's side are mostly step-relatives that we're not close enough with to expect help when I'm nursing home age. It worries me. Sounds like you'll have a good group of nieces, though, so that won't be something you'll have to worry about. :)

I pretty much don't have a choice either. No woman my age could appreciate men my age. I cut no losses when it was clear my path is to be walked alone.

Know what I hate? Give your mm a bunch of stuff but they never send anything back. :(
