I hadn't realized this, but - we can no longer get forum points for chatting with one another in our group chat areas. So any time you post in here just to talk, you do not have a chance to get a forum point to spend in the forum shop. The reason I pinged you all is because I wanted to know if you guys wanted to go out into the 'big wide world of Subeta' to chit chat to gain the possibility of forum points like we used to get.
The monthly cup would stay here for things we wanted to talk about -just us- ... but another benefit to having a public chat would be that our friends could see us having a good time with one another and possibly choose to join our group, CwF.
The games would still be in here, and would require that people join CwF to be able to participate... so nothing would change inside the group.. there would just be another place for us to talk instead of doing -all- our chatting in here...
If you like the idea please say so, if you do not, please say why you prefer not to. Even if we did have a public chat, you by no means would be required to talk there. You could still just chat here if you wanted...
Tbh I never post for forumpoints anyway, they are for me just a lucky side effect whenever you want to say something. That being said I have no preference for a private or public chat anyway. This private setting might feel safer to talk about more personal stuff though? Idk

Congratulations on the Wiz giving you a gold potion! Random events can be fun :) is pretty good at the HA making, just ask the judges... ;) Truth be told, I think she gets a kick out of beating me! I never think about forum points and wouldn't be posting on another forum if we had a public one but for those who do it would be a good thing. I barely have enough computer time to keep up with this forum. There are always activities to keep us interested where we live now. We also need a nap every day. 😆 You young whipper snappers enjoy the public forum with my tired old body's blessing. 😄
and I figured that would be the majority's sentiment. So I might just do a public chit chat using niki'speeps and then if someone is chatting with me a lot over there and I think they'd be a good fit for in here, I'll mention it to them on a case by case. I would like more forum points... but I understand majority of our people wanting to keep it "behind the group wall"

You’re right, Mother/Daughter competition is fun... unless momma gets beat ALL the time! :p I’m kidding, I don’t mind not winning at all. Although winning is great, it’s having fun that matters! It is getting harder and harder though isn’t it?? These youngsters are quite creative with their avi’s. ;) I don’t know why we don’t have a better turn out! Your retirement community sounds so wonderful! Daily naps are nice too, I wish I could take more naps, but darn it, I have trouble falling asleep at night... no naps for me :/

I prefer the private group chat, but open to the idea of also having a public chat. If we can post random events there, what we received from the bathhouse, hustler etc, would be great. Also, would you reconsider letting us use the cwf hashtag on special occassions like hosting a game? I don't mean the public chat thread, just here.

I was never as strict about the hashtag as Leonie seems to want to be. We did have a second hashtag for others to use for a while but that seemed "extra"... The only reason I might keep the cwf tag only for admin is so that when you get a notification from that ping, you know an admin fro this group used it.. and "just anything"... We do have a few threads for posting what you get daily, but I wouldn't mind having that to keep the public group alive. I'm gonna just start one using nikispeeps. I'll add you to that group.
@ everyone - I understand hesitation to chat in the "open world" and I definitely don't expect anyone to chat there if they do not wish to. If you want to be in Niki's Peeps and are not already, let me know. I'm happy to add you! <3 :)
