what are some quality-of-life updates you'd love to see this summer?

Can we have an emojis and gifs drop down buttons that will display all the emojs and display giphy gifs with a search option instead of going to the emojis spreadsheets or to giphy?

There are many forums that has the emojis drop down and it's much much easier, also giphy is providing a forums drop down

Also for news comments it would be nice!

What are your favorite site features and how can we make them better?

Shops, I think the RSing feature needs to be improved, it's a bit old, it's repetitive and all over the place, sometimes it's not even worth it to RS, also the fact that it's by ID kinda makes it easy or hard, depends on which side you are, to catch or lose the new items. also, I think it's time to mass retire many old clothes, plushies and beanbags.

Achievements - the page needs a complete revamp and a better way to compare achievements with other users!

What do you do every day on the site that could be improved?

I think there should be more ways to actually make you want to log in, he site easily become repetitive and it's easy to lose interest, I don't have ideas at the moment haha

MORE ACHIEVEMENTS - since like 3-4 years ago there was a slow down with releasing new achievements and if there are new ones they are usually the same type "feed x food, put x clothes in the wardrobe, read x books etc." it's a bit boring I would say, there are so many possibilities for new achievements, not new tier! new achievements! the site is so big, why to stop??

Also, un-retire achievements for a fee, especially the challengers ones, I never understood why those without a prize should stay retired, I don't mind to pay 1mil, 2mil whatever, to get a chance to get them again and if an item is involve, a weapons or a scroll, there must be a way not to give those once again no?

Is there any chance you could take minions out of the "collection" portion when restocking? Since the minion zoo will take however many minions you have (instead of the other collections where it is actually one (1) item per collection) it can be frustrating if you have a lot of items in your inventory and you want to do a quick stock to "Wardrobe" or "Collection"?

Any plans to revamp or do something new with the minion zoo .... or possibly have a minion collection and a minion zoo?

this site calls subeta pets', so for me i like to do something with my pet... i would like to put some wearable things on it, or a background...

and it would be nice to see more new stuff in the shops, for example every month on the 3.th in every shop there are some new items and we get on this day a lower price in the shops ( only the public ones )

aaand for the last; it would be sooo great if we get the button back in wishlist, if we check for a friend the button say; i have it in my invi, meantime i must use the search function to see if i have it or not...

New Artist Position(s) Available

Whatever happened to hiring a new artist? Applications closed Sept 16, the thread was finally locked three months later on Dec 10 when Rah said she "finally had time to go through these" applications and that emails were being sent out, and then... silence for another five months? I think? Did I miss an announcement about the new hire or did that whole thing fall through?

A couple things I remembered that I'd like:

-An easier way to sort stickers to the top; or to choose which are displayed on your profile. -Also a button to auto-sort the stickers alphabetically.

....and there was something else, but I am a forgetful person.

OH! Someone said something about a night mode for the site and I wanted to second that~

-More of a bug, but - when making a new thread clicking the "official post" box doesn't actually give you the purple heading. (My "fix" - Make the thread then copy/paste to a new post and delete the original.)

I was actually waiting for someone else to ask this question because I'm a chicken, but no one's asked yet so... 😂

It's come up several times in the past few months, but will Subeta ever move away from using unique names for pets? I understand having to start out with and use this unique naming system back in the day, but now technology has improved and it's possible to do away with this system. I feel like "it's always been this way" isn't a very good reason to not improve on something when it's possible (and not too much trouble) to change. : ( (Although I'm sure there are folks out there that would not see this as an improvement haha! : P )

Just seconding (or third-ing or whatever lol) that the sticker collection could really use some more attention. Some sort of click to place system like the TCs have would be cool, instead of only drag and drop. Also buttons to have some automatic sort options like item ID, alphabetical, rarity or something. Anything that would make it easier to sort through, especially for those of us who have like 1,000+ stickers. ;~;

Wigs in a separate layer would be awesome. That’s a QoL. Another QoL would be a set alarm for the bathhouse. Can’t be that hard to do.

I’m OCD about wardrobe. So if I get a new flimsy kitten fabric I use the wardrobe’s organize item feature to take the dresses out into inventory and then add them back in through quick stock. So when I go to the chest layer all will be together because I sort by: added to wardrobe, descending and 500 per page. Newest items on top. Hope this helps.

I'm just real bemused by the fact that you've put discord and subeta in the same category when discord is a chat/voice chat platform focused on gaming (that is primarily a downloaded program over a website) and subeta is a pet site... I just... What train of thought brought you here? I don't want this to come across as mean, you've just made a leap of logic I cannot fathom somewhere and I'm too curious to not ask

YES to both of these please! Also, because I have 64 pets I rarely go to the Job Agency. I would do this daily if you could improve it. The layout of it really makes it hard to use and I get lost on which pet, and that means I click on one twice and waste time and energy. If the pets could simply be stacked like a deck of cards, then it would be so easy! And PLEASE put the options of collect the income and request a promotion on the same page. It is annoying to have to keep clicking pages and then go back too. But if this could be done, then it would be really nice to simply click what you want and click again to go to the next pet as this one goes to the bottom of the stack. It would be great to have highlighted what you can do, like collect income, and if you've already done it, then its not highlighted anymore. Or, of course, like you have now at the resort, to be able to click 'collect all pet incomes' in one go would be fantastic. Likewise, 'request all pet promotions' and it would show which were done.

Since we're talking about forum groups...

I think I would like see some easy way to turn of group notifications that doesn't involve going to every individual group and turning them off there.

For Survival, my biting group made a forum group for every strain (heh, did you expect one group to make almost 50 more?), and it would be nice if people could turn off notifications for those groups when they aren't around to bite. The current way is a little tedious, especially if you joined a lot of those groups.

Echoing what said, I'd love for the latest message to be on top, instead of at the bottom! Especially because inboxes often get full, we tend to use the same mails over and over. Some of them, images added, end up being super lengthy. Having the newest high up would be so much awesome!

Is it in any way feasible to bring back the drag-and-drop drawer system from wardrobe v2? I feel that the current system is clunky and awkward and very easy to make mistakes on (and then hard to correct those mistakes.) The drag-and-drop felt much more intuitive to me.

apparently i'm in 124 groups, not counting my own (i control+f'd # and subtracted my two personal groups) and uh. i would... really like a better way to manage all of this. maybe an easy way to mute/unmute from subeta.net/forums.php/groups/#/your, maybe a way to sort them like you can sort wishlist categories?

e/ at minimum, a marker of some sort for groups you own/admin for would be nice! (like idk, crown for owner / star for admin... idk if the roles are different enough to warrant separate markers??)

QoL... it drives me nuts that if you get logged out while on the site (for instance, while refreshing the news page), there is no way to log in without manually typing in "subeta.net" in your browser's URL bar and then clicking "log in". The navbar on the site proper will always, always show a "logout" link in the menu, even if you're already logged out! (it's been this way for years now)
