GENERAL UPDATES: May 11

hi everyone, I'm busy preparing for Vesnali so I don't have anything for you atm. and I have discussed a lot of cool QoL things to come out (some you'll see in his section already!!!). I PROMISE TO HAVE SOME THINGS DONE THIS COMING WEEK FOR Y'ALL.

First off: a quick update on the issues you may have noticed around the site (getting blank pages when questing, quests not finishing correctly) We've been working hard to identify the root cause, and we think we've figured it out. We've already rolled out a few partial solutions, and is aiming to finish up the rest of the work before we start Vesnali. Fingers crossed for smooth sailing as we enter the holiday <3

Next order of business: I worked on a bunch of Quality-of-Life updates, almost all of which were suggestions from... you! Without further ado, here's the list!

🐝 Easier minion swapping! If you attempt to give a minion to a pet that already has one, it will ask you if you'd like to swap the two minions.

🐝 Pet birthdays on your pets page! Now, you can find each pet's date of birth on the page that lists all of your pets for easy reference.

🐝 Fantine's baking alert! When you put something in the oven at Fantine's bakery, you now have the option to set an alert to tell you when your delicious treat is done.

🐝 "Delete Shop" button moved to a less scary place! The "Delete Shop" button is no longer in the list of navigation links when you're doing things to your shops. Now, you can access it from the "Edit Shop" page. (There are additional confirmations even after you click that link, so you should never have to worry about accidentally deleting your shop.)

🐝 Item description added to CW denial history Each item in your CW Denial History now has the item description as well. I am looking into the best way to also include your custom notes for each item. The main difficulty is that these notes can be quite long, and could even contain large images in some cases. If anyone has suggestions on how you'd like to see this handled, please let us know!

🐝 Only pets you can feed will show up in the options for food items From now on, pets with 10/10 hunger will no longer show up with the "Feed to _" option when you are using a food item. A brief note has been added to this page for those who don't read our site updates!

🐝 ...and miscellaneous other tweaks...

• The scrolls in your Scroll Library are now listed in alphabetical order by item name.
• Similarly, your inventory items when choosing an item to toss into The Rift are also now displayed in alphabetical order, and items now show the item names, not just the images.
• When you don't owe any payments on CWs, the payments page will now say so, instead of just being a blank page.
• When doing a Shop Search for an item in the Cursed quest shop, there's now a non-broken link to the quest shop.
