it's like arguing getting rid of the $2 win on a $2 scratch card. and that's gambling generous. I for real do not understand why you seem to believe that you should get a quote unquote good item every time you enter a lottery. it's a gamble pure and simple.

and to add at me "being mad" about OP getting and angelic. I really couldn't give a toss, I just see it in bad taste to win one of the better items in the pool and then suggest getting rid of the lesser items. comes off as entitled and greedy somewhat. I dont even do the potion lottery, so.

It's a colour-changing potion in a colour-changing potion lottery. Its value doesn't really matter, it's all part of the same set. It would be a little weird if it wasn't in there?

Yeah it's one thing to make a suggestion, that's fair enough. But getting upset that multiple people dislike the suggestion is a bit silly. Suggestions aren't automatically going to be well received, and this one frankly makes no sense. If anything it'd just be strange to exclude a potion from the potion lottery. So what if it's not a "good" item? It's still a potion, so it belongs on the list.

There's not much I can say that hasn't already said in much more concise words. And it seems like the majority of the replies to this thread seem to be of the same idea: It's a gamble, and there's ways around it at that. It's very, very easy to just buy a ticket for the potion(s) you specifically want, buying the megaticket is literally a gamble in of itself and I'd wager most people only do it so they can get the achievement.

I feel like that's an expectation a lot of people have, but I think people end up losing more than they win if the play a consistent basis (I think this is also the case with the Subeta scratchcards - I never seem to win). I sell lotto, so I see everybody's gambling habits. I've seen so many people spend $10 a week on tickets and get nothing on them, and then go ahead and buy more tickets in the face of that loss. Lotteries aren't really meant to be profitable, but if a single card can get you $40 sometimes, it almost seems like it could be.

And about the usernames, I'm pretty sure got pings meant for me a couple of times. x3

Maybe not removing the common potion, but adding a "ultra" ticket that's more expensive, but is an easy one-button click for buying a copy of all repose-color potion tickets, maybe make it like 50k, 100k or even 250k. You won't win if the winning potion of the day is a non-repose color, but I guess you didn't want that any way. It would be an ok sp-sink, if the site is still trying to do that.

If it's just a problem with the value of the common potion, maybe we could ask the SubetaTeam to go through user shops again and buy out items lower than the rs value... I know they did that in the past but I'm not sure if they still do that.

as for irl scratch cards, I don't even bother. I've also seen how people just chuck money into irl lottery, both scratch and lotto, it seriously doesn't pay out. But subeta scratch cards are a very good cheap way to gain pet stats. While I don't win every other subeta scratch, if 1 in 25 of my scratch tickets is a pet stat (and I'm pretty sure the chances are much better than that), it's still cheaper than one session in the trainer's (for my battle pet) and definitely cheaper than buying stat booster items.

It’s a gamble. Always been. Taking out the lower priced prizes doesn’t really accomplish much other than making it an incomplete potion lottery.
