For the rift comedian thing, I think using the tossed salad will always work for that, it seems to have gotten everyone the achievement who has done it so far.

As for the certain items being guaranteed, it seems like there is still a (small) random chance that you could get nothing from throwing in one of those items (coffee, blob kitty, pie, etc.), but if it does give you an item it will always be the same item. For example, if you toss in a bunny plushie you should only ever get the rift bunny plushie in return (or the small chance of nothing), not a random retired item or any other rift item.

At least that's how it seems like it's been working so far.

Lol no worries. But yeah, it seems like it's meant to be just the salad for the achievement anyway because of the description for the rift salad and the title for the comedian achievement being "perfect tosser" which references the tossed salad as well.

Wow I have so many random items I'm holding to toss in and see what comes out it's frustrating that I can only throw in 1 a day. Waiting to see a Rift Feli that looks like Goose. I will change my Rift pet to a Feli and then Rift it. :D

yeah I didn't read the first post... it says 48 hours... but you say 12? Oh ok...

The first wave of Rifted pets took 48 hours to come back because it was a new thing, but after they started returning the time went down. Mine returned in about 12 hours.

And what your pet looks like when it returns depends on the species of the pet you Rifted. You will get an event when he/she returns. They keep your pet slots full so you can't fill the slot leaving no place for the Rifted pet to return to.

yeah I made the pet I rifted my active pet, so I knew I still had them, but it just freaked me out a little to not see them on the pet page... oof thanks for your help
