at this time we're fairly (still guesswork, but it seems to be the case) that the teeth items are obtained randomly. so far all the cases we've seen of people having obtained the teeth, the items they threw in had wildly varied rarities and names, they didn't seem connected to the item they got back from the rift at all lmao

Yea I noticed that with even some of the "rift touched" items. Some people threw in something with absolutely no relation and got touched items in return.
