Happy Lumi I think Subeta can find out how much income needs to be reported per country. And then set the limit depending on the lowest amount.
I’m not expecting subeta to be handing out hundreds nor thousands of dollars to us.
I’m thinking more along the lines of tiers?
For example, $100 is the limit of the most you can earn in a year. Even if you exceed the requirements.
First tier: Release at least 5 CWs and you get ... I dunno $25 dollars back. And so on and so forth. Up to $100. And no rollovers.
To be fair, subeta would need to check how many CWs on average, a user releases in a year and go by that.
That sort of feels like telling someone who works 40 hours a week that they can only earn the same paycheck as someone who worked 20 hours a week. I like the tier idea but not the cap. IMVU pays it's creators a % of sales and it's something like 3 cents a sale depending on what the item is set to. Something like that seems fairer to me and those putting out more CWs per year could get slightly more than someone like me who has put out one CW ever. lol
There has to be a cap for releasers, otherwise I think it would be unfair to the artists.
Edit: and the cap has to exist to avoid running into the ‘reportable income issue’ others have brought up.
Like I said before, if Subeta does give payouts, I think it’d be more like a coupon. A sort of thanks for choosing this site, here’s a bonus for investing so much in our site by submitting CWs. It will NEVER be, hey you can quit your day job and live off subeta’s paycheck.
