Ok brace yourself for some spam: So on Friday evening I was invited to 2 birthdays: I was planning on going to both of them but ended up staying at the first one. It was a nutritional scietist's birthday so you can imagine the hoards of amazing food everyone made. (I made German cheesecake and felt "underdressed" with my food compared to everyone else xD) But since the second party was a surprise party I was not invited and then didn't show up but I still feel kinda bad for not going... On Saturday I was asked by another friend if I could help waitressing at her dad's birthday. They had a freaking food truck for the birthday. A food truck?! AND a crêpe stand.... So yeah that was a huge success and on Sunday my parents came to deliver my pet bunny cause they are going abroad for some time. So we had to smuggle the bunny inside because my landlord doesn't allow pets... I am officially a criminal xD And today (even though it's not the weekend anymore) I went to uni as usual, but afterwards another friend took me to the best burger restaurant in town and she invited me cause she had a voucher _____ I got free fries.... Homemade fries that is. Ok so that's it. Now you know, all I do is eat and all I hold sacred is food xD

Oh gosh. I wish I could sleep that late. 9 is super late for me. 8 is nice on weekends. 645 weekdays though. And even some weekends because my cats wakes me up for breakfast and I usually cant get back to sleep.

When my mother and I lived in apartments we always kept my cats without paying like the deposit for them or anything. Thennnnnnn I had to go and marry a GOOD person so I'm not allowed to smuggle Discordia in. We have to pay her rent. But she protects us, so at least she's earning her room and board lol

My weekend was nice. Kind of rainy so that sucked, but great weather for going to the movies, which we did. Saw captain marvel and I really enjoyed it. The soundtrack was so goooooood. Had plans to grill steaks on Sunday but the rain switched to snow and I'm not hardcore enough to grill in the snow.

But now the weekend is over and it's back to work. I have a nice schedule though - I work Monday and Tuesday, then I have Wednesday off, and I work Thursday and Friday.

I could absolutely not manager school and work at the same time. Probably not even if I did part time for both. I am very easily exhausted, mentally. I can barely function at work these days (I came home and was in bed by 9p the other night - Work, dinner, dishes, bed. Bleh)

Discordia is black! She's got one little white spot on her chest, very small, but otherwise all black. I've had her since she was a kitten, it'll be fifteen years in July. She wakes me up in the morning for breakfast by biting my nose. Here's a photo of her with Tiger before he passed away If it's possible, my husband loves her even more than I do. We've been married six years (in June) and we don't have kids, just a teenage cat.

Here is some spam of what my weekend looks/looked like: So Friday I was still super sick but my roomie made waffles, so that was treat. And then yesterday I was at a party and someone got his earlobe pierced. At the party. It was so crazy! And then we played musical chairs, and someone brought their dog. To the student dorms... And when I wanted to go home, someone had popped my bike tire... So I had to walk home ò_ó And today I got in bed at 5 am and my housemate forgot her keys this morning at like 11 am. These are 6 hours of sleep it still felt like 6 minutes this morning xD And later a group of friends comes to mine and we have our regular Mac n cheese party. We don't get Kraft's here, so whenever someone goes to the US (or Canada this time) they bring a huge amount of packages back and we make sort of a celebration out of it. It's the third time within almost 2 years so this is always super special - And I'm gonna make some cinnamon rolls because... well if we are unhealthy to those extents we might just go all out right? ;'D How is your weekend going? Did you get to relax a bit?

Meh. It's all stuff that doesn't matter and I just don't know how to let it not get to me. I started a diet ("""""""It's not a diet, it's just trying to make healthier choices""""""""" okay, sure) and I don't know WHY I did it. I tell myself I don't care about losing weight - I've been fat my whole life, so now that I'm thirty, like who am I trying to impress? Why do I want to cut all of the things I LOVE out of my life? PLUS I haaate those people who complain about their diets, because you made the choice to do this, so why complain? Just stop? But now I am that person?

Plus I got spoken to about my job (I work in a call center, and last month I was only on the phone 66% of the time) but this month and next month I'm training new hires, so once again, I'm not going to be available on the phones for a solid chunk of time while I do that, so cool, you know, I'll just keep failing at my job, too.

When I spoke to my manager about trying to move to a different department (We're a credit union, so there's lots of other options that don't involve being on the phones) she just told me like, "Yeah, we can definitely work on seeing where you can move to, but first we just need to work on your sales." Which, you know, once again there are LOTS of positions there which DON'T involve sales, so why would that be a thing I try to focus on????

Whatever. Only 40 more years of that, and maybe I'll get to retire.

It sounds like you had a great weekend! I didn't do much. I went to my mother's yesterday to grill for dinner. So that was really nice. I love grilled food. Then we went to the nerd store and I picked up some little figures to paint. And a bunch of pink paint because obviously spooky ghosts are supposed to be pink. I'm really nervous about it though because I am not ... good at art. Or creative at all. But that's probably all I'm going to do today. Try to paint some little dudes. I hope you get some more sleep! Six hours is not very much at all. Even I got eight!

My pain is noticeably less today, ironically. So I don't think I NEED to try it atm. :P The ibuprofen and tylenol seems to be doing the trick for the most part now.
