As for the ‘erect’ dog ears I prefer the ones on top of the head. The ones covering the ears just seem off but can’t put my finger on why it does to me. It would be great to be able to cover the HA’s natural ears though. Is there a ‘skIn cap’ type item on site that would work for that?

Another thought... would floppy dog ears work? Just to change things up? I’ve seen some cute floppy bunny ears on site- could that concept be shortened and reshaped for floppy dog ears?

I love both doggo ear designs, but I feel like the over-ear design covers too much of the side of the face....though I do understand why. Pesky HA ears. :T Either way, I love and am interested in both designs--along with the dog booty, too. <3

A lot of those items are not very useful for wearing animal ears though. The hijabs make it look like you just sewed fake ears to your hijab.

its a compendium of every possible item on the site that blocks the ears. A lot of the jewelry and flowers in it can be useful, and there's a weird lizard ear thing that if your hair mostly covers is probably not too obvious. I didn't make the thread, I'm just promoting it

Oh I don't blame you for the way that thread is managed.

I just haven't found that thread to be incredibly helpful given that "covers the ears" and "covers the ears, but doesn't cover the top of the head" are different sets of requirements--and you need to have both conditions fulfilled for ear wearing.

I also don't think that "covers the ears completely, but gives you a weird face that won't necessarily go with your anthro ears" is a good tradeoff.

So I imagine a lot of other people who wear anthro ears more than 50% of the time (like I do) probably don't find it all that useful either. That's probably why it hasn't been updated much. Do you think anyone would feel their toes were being stepped on if I made a thread specifying only items that not only cover the human base ears, but also don't make your animal ears look dumb?

Also, and this is mostly directed to , I want to make an item of that general nature. I'm just afraid it'll be disallowed for the same dumb reason that closed eyes are disallowed, even though it's NO PROBLEM if you want to have a fox butt with multiple attached tails.

I'd honestly appreciate a thread dedicated to items covering human base ears for the sake of animal ears. I have found a few good things in there for ear covering, but if it's out of date cause no ones enthusiastic about general ear coverings then yeah, make a new one

A lot of the best items are CWs unfortunately. I usually solve the problem by layering wigs. If you look at most of my HAs they are wearing more than one wig (and the "H" part of HA is highly inaccurate!) The Fawntastic Strands for instance are bangs and sidelocks that cover the ears.

More affordably, the Haircut Shears from the grooming shop do the trick if they match your hair/ears.

(Of course then you get into the issue where animal ears tend to NOT come in colours other than black, white and pink.) But yeah, it would be a great thread, I'll work on something,
