HERE WE GO AGAIN ?. Hello, my beautiful gold accounts! We're ready to start testing the newest version of the wardrobe, which is something we're really excited about. Over the last few years, we've been trying to slowly move features to our laravel API. I'm sure you've seen requests go to sapi.subeta.net, and that's where all of our avatar (and some forum) code lives now. We're ready to start moving all features to laravel, which lets us build with a much better base.

Yeah, it's one of my goals to get that back. Unfortunately actually determining the colors is a little bit harder, and ended up with a pretty imperfect system before.

What I'd like is for us to make a palette of 10-20 colors and be able to assign items to those colors, but that means some amount of manual work that we haven't been able to make time for.

If you click on the skin again, it removes it :)

Clicking on the hair tab gives you the list, if you click on the hair name you can change the color and preview it on the avatar.

Drawers are on the roadmap, I'd like to change how they work (to tags) but drawers will be added soon!

Pushing some fixes now... the outfits page was constantly refreshing the outfits which was uh, bad and maybe crashing your browser. That shouldn't happen now.

Right now it's limited to showing 100 outfits, I'm adding pagination back soon!

Hey everyone! I've just updated our tracking page for the work that I'm doing on the wardrobe.

Today came with a pretty heavy rewrite to prepare for the future, and I made the todo into a kanban board so that you can see the progress on various things, and I'll continue adding notes from here as well.

One of the things that I fixed was the avatar loading backwards today. I'm still rewriting the pages but they should be back again soon.

Just pushed out some more changes, which you can read in detail (and see the upcoming features) on this page. I'm trying to make this a more transparent process as I work through these!

The big change today is you can now remove base features (eyes, nose, mouth, hair) instead of needing to layer them beneath your base or set your hair to bald.

The salon page is mostly complete, highlights aren't showing up (for now) but will be re-added today. Then I'll tackle the items & outfits page.

That's fine if you don't care that 20,000 items need to be able to connect to each other and are making estimates. We've got a little higher barrier for the wardrobe.

We have plans for a more substantial item management page :)

It'll be showing up blank for a second, pushing a fix now.

Big update here today on the items page ? All of the filtering options work, and it is blazing fast - even when searching items. We've implemented an external searching system, which will also make it much easier to add in tags and colors.

Check it out and let me know what you think, or if you find any weird bugs! The styling still isn't great.

Whoops, the name sorting should be fixed ?

It's a work in progress, but it likely won't be added back any time soon. Unfortunately with the system that we're using to do all of this very fast searching on a massive list of items, adding in the individual user details isn't really possible.

What are you trying to sort by? Can you provide screenshots or details, "it isn't working" isn't helpful for debugging. I'm going to make it so that the labels are more clear on what your'e sorting, but this works for me:

Added some more updates to the wardrobe including being able to wear three salon styles at once. I can't wait to see what creativity that unlocks!!

Items Page A new items page not powered by Algolia. I'm in the process of (in a much larger post) actually doing that big rewrite, and ported over some of the code from that to this wardrobe codebase.

So, taking something that has been a VERY difficult query for us to optimize over the last few years and making it much faster and much more reasonable to add more filters to.

this won't mean anything to most of you but that is what the API returns now... which is significantly cleaned up from what we've ever had in the past.

More condensed layout I've tightened up a lot of the space in this wardrobe, trying to maximize what we've got.

Limbs! You can toggle on/off your limbs on all of the bases!

So if you could give the new wardrobe another shot, and report any issues here, that'd be great!

What's missing??? The next update I make is bringing back "all items on Subeta"

Will look into the items not showing up issue tomorrow, but we've got some more updates:

• Colors are back! A script is running in the background to try to match items to colors, it's .. not exactly scientific right now, but I'm hoping it does an alright job.
• You can show only CWs, and view all items that way with that filter as well
