hahaha, money and time are two of the big reasons i'm leaving the community. it used to be a lot of fun, but not so much recently, but i've also aged a lot since i got in. i'm 22 now and i was 18 when i got involved, so my tastes have changed and my patience level. also, my new job is killer: great, exciting, and entertaining, but also a lot of work and supervising undergraduates and preventing them from accidentally killing themselves in my lab.

i've noted down your offer on the sweater in the first post. it's not there for a bidding war, but mainly so i remember what was offered if i decide to sell. <3

i'll be holding on to that for now, but you can always ask to borrow it. it doesn't get as much use and it used to, but it's the kind of item i'm sure i'll regret selling the second after i do and try to make a ha. <3

Thanks for getting back to me. That is perfectly understandable and I respect your wish to hold on to them. I'm still fairly new to the CW community so I do not know it as much as you do, so it's really disappointing to hear that it has gotten worse and that it has been much nicer before. I understand why you want to ease away from it. It's good though to still have good friends around so there is still something enjoyable about this CW aspect.

it's super incredible, tbh, much better than my previous job, though it pays less because i'm not working insanity hours/have only been working there for a few months. it's related to my degree, unlike baking, so i'm a lot more interested in what i'm doing. it's difficult when some of my interns are older than i am and think they can get away with things because i wouldn't /dare/ call them out on it.

Yeah, it used to be a lot more welcoming, which is how I made most of my friends. Hell, my CW shop was originally funded by one of my CW friends (though I met her in the SB, which also used to be a lot nicer to be in), so the way it's gone recently makes me kind of sad when I think about it. :c It actually got worse when they took down SubetaSpeaks because now drama has no open forum, so it's harder to keep up with things when you aren't as active on the forums.

i'm not supposed to wear makeup at my new job because of potential contaminants and i didn't wear it at my other job because it would have melted off my face like halfway through the day. i just never learned to put it on because there was no occasion for me to ever wear it; i can't even put on lipstick, am terrified of stabbing myself in the eye, and putting on blush/highlight/whatever would make me look like a corpse.

we're twins and i love it. also, yeeeees, that reference pic is amazing. i love him so much. i'm almost positive that their hair is probably dead from all the hair dye, but it always looks amazing. 😍
