I love thrift shops. o-o I always have to wash my hands a couple of times, but still.

I like them too, but YES omg! I'm so showering after leaving, but love seeing them anyway lol

I shower ASAP if I try anything on, for sure. And I make sure I have hand sanitizer on me or I have to buy some. Otherwise I am not Happy At All.

It's not shocking with me though. I wash my hands a good 500 times a day.

Hi guys. yeah I'm more awake but tonight i really need not to be lol! Things should be better this weekend. This year my job is so much more complicated than it used to be.

You and are cracking me up. Thrift stores don't usually bother me because the ones around here won't even accept stuff that's not clean, let alone put it on the rack. I have had donations turned down because of one (1) cat hair, even though the clothes were clean--you both know cat hair can get into anything!

Conveyor belts though!

The clerks at the local Target all know that I won't put clothing down on the belt and also that I do NOT want clothing or books or paper goods in the same bag as food.

Someone tried to put a shirt in a bag that had meat and raspberries in it and I freaked. WHO DOES THAT. Fortunately I saw before anything could go wrong. Pale pink shirt, Red raspberries. Red meat. Yeah no.

I don't mind letting my clothes onto conveyor belts because I always wash them before I wear them. I only have one clothing item that can't actually be washed, but I can do stuff to clean/sanitize it (and I do multiple ways when I do). Although, no I won't let them put it with meat. Ew.

Berries are just as bad, though. Worse. Meat stains will often come out if you get them immediately and the fabric will tolerate a tiny bit of peroxide (yes, I'm a big meat lover, though I usually don't handle meat when I'm dressed up).

Raspberries basically exist to kill your clothes if they're in a bag with your clothes. Sadly my favourite things to eat are basically beef and raspberries so never can my food and my clothes be packed up together.

I don't wash things before I try them on because then you can't take them back, but now we are getting into Valiska's Issues With Fitting Rooms (and Valiska's Habit Of Shopping Late At Night Because That's When It's Quiet).

Although I buy most of my clothes online, and a lot of my dressier stuff from overseas...lately Target, Old Navy and the Gap have been hitting it out of the park when it comes to lace blouses.

The only fitting rooms I ever like to actually use are the ones at the lolita stores in SF. Because people in lolita stores are mostly civilised.

I am lucky in that I usually don't shop for clothes and food at the same time, and I don't buy many pale colors. I also don't allow meat to be with anything other than meat. And I prefer it to be alone (chicken with chicken, red with red, etc).
