Well I mentioned, i think, that dad broke his foot. Well mum took him to the er today and we both thought he was being a baby with a cold... but he's been too sedentary and now has double blood clots in his lungs. They are admitting him.

Shit. Pulmonary embolisms are no joke. They're putting him on medication to kill the clots I hope?

That said, when my cat died, I had the ashes of my other cat who died 2 years before cremated with him. They were BFFs--cat-married, essentially. I didn't want the ashes back. My cats were not a box of ashes, my cats were my cats, and live in my memories. All looking at boxes and urns does is make me remember the sad stuff.

(I don't handle death well, which is not a secret to anyone who knows me IRL. I don't do death imagery in any of my avatars lol. This is why we differed on the bone gardens. I think they are great for people who like them but I think other types of items should be done along with them, instead of 4 bone gardens in a row and then no more, which sucked for the people who didn't like them and will suck in future for the ones who did.)
