Just keeping ya (the Voice) on yer toes ;) Thanks, but 90% of the time I notice nothing, just in my own little world....
Congrats to you both! :)
A letter was delivered that afternoon:
"Dearest Frieda,
I know I have been quite absent, but a true pirate captain has ears and eyes everywhere. Congratulations on your pregnancy, though by the time this letter reaches you, you might already have had your babies. No matter, it's always the thought that counts, right, my dear? I'm sending a few things as a way of sending my love. Expect a few packages later.
Hopefully I have not been forgotten. Send Weldon and Sparky my regards.
Yours Truly, Capt. Jacqueline of Le Petit Fantome formerly of the Krakatoa"
I'm so glad it all went well and thank you so much for the lovely gifts from Sparky!

Salutations and Congratulations to the lovely parents! By now you must be settled into your roles as parents of multiples so I'm thinking you'll need this number: GET-ASI-TTER. Will look forward to hearing more about the new ones and the old ones! ❤
Life is short... Count your Blessings, Love your family and friends and lend a helping hand whenever you can!
R.I.P. Karen Garvin, beloved sister. Tom Garvin, beloved father. Jo Garvin, beloved mother., Donna Honeycutt, baby sister
The pups are three weeks old, or so. I'm doing just fine and I've started to get back into my routine somewhat. I've got clinics to run and eventually, I must return to Terra and to Healer's Hall where I am Master Healer and Queen of my tribe. I've been away since just before American Thanksgiving. I love Omen Island, but it's not my home.
Today, I'm taking the pups outside for the first time. Merril, Aya and Madison are going to help. Even though it's been three weeks, the pup's eyes aren't fully open quite yet, but it's warm out, the grass is soft and the air is clear. I just want them to start to acclimate to the outside world. Weldon is a little nervous, but he will remain on Watcher Detail, as he always does and insure that nothing untoward happens.
I have seven such different little personalities, I've given each one a nickname now to match. The littlest one, Ursula (Ursi) is my most fierce. Her brothers and sisters already know she's the boss.
: I hope you're doing well, and your newborns, presuming that you've already given birth. :) Take care! :)
It'll be a nice couple of days over here in Texas. In the 70s and sunny, so I'll be taking my baby outside more often, for some walks or just hanging out in the backyard for a bit. How did the pups do with being outside?
, : The pups did well outside. Lots of sniffing, scrambling about and some tears. ( little Sparkles got separated from the group for about ten seconds, and when I say separated, I mean by about three inches away...) There's nothing cuter then a knot of baby weasels napping on a tuft of grass. I'll try again next week. Storms are predicted for Omen all this coming week. By then, their eyes will all be open and they will be a bit more independent.
