What I love about the Holiday season: 1.Family getting together. Giving gifts, sharing a meal and playing games. 2. The lights are beautiful to see decorating a tree and love to see how everyone decorates their house and yard this time of year. 3. Friends near and far.

Hmm, what do I like best about the holidays... I love hanging out with my family. We try to spend more time in the communal areas of the house (we're all massive introverts and do our own thing most of the time) and play co-op games. ^_^ I also enjoy the food - nothing super difficult to make but all good and delicious - and of course sharing presents is heaps of fun. It's just a relaxing time at mine. All our extended family are overseas so we just focus on ourselves.

1. giving gifts. <3 I was young when the job of "Santa" fell on me. My baby sister rarely asked for anything so I tried to make her holidays as awesome as possible.

Three things I adore:

1. Seasonal food.
2. More seasonal food. Eating all of it until I get into a nice food induced coma.
3. Yes. I know you're expecting me to say something like "spending time with family and friends", "xmas decorations", "the holiday cheerful spirit"... I love all these, but they come after one thing to me: food. I'm sorry. I'm terrible and I know it. But at least I can enjoy aaaall these things while eating lots every year, because they don't conflict soooo.. I don't have to pick one over the other. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! rolls

I love time spent with my family the most, time preparing the meal house some of my fondest memories. Time off from work is always a bonus :-) And driving around to Ooo and Ahh over light displays is always a must do with a car full of friends.

1. My birthday is on the 24th, which is always fun. I often have it off for work, which is better than most people!
2. Spending time with my family. This is the best time to travel and see everyone.

Hhhmmm things I like about the holidays. I don't seem weird when I'm singing Christmas music during the holidays unlike the other months of the year. I love seeing my family, though lately that is a somewhat sad point as well since there are not as many people, but it is still the best part. Lights I love the LIGHTS! I love color all year and during this season colors come to life in many bright and vibrant ways. They also display the creative talent of everyone who puts them out for all to enjoy. Thank you to all the people who light up my life literally! I know it is a lot of work which I why I rarely put any on my own house.

1. Decorating my Luminaire tree. This is only my 2nd Lumi so I've yet to try out all the possibilities!

2. Visiting Melody! All the luminaire items are so pretty and well thought out. This year my favorite item is the Centropolis Winter Souvenir Card especially because the item description is so precious... I think it really highlights the inclusivity of disabled people (which I identify with) on the site.

3 things I love about Christmas:

1. Christmas-y food: there are so many traditional foods and desserts that come back on Christmas (like Panettone, GOD, I could just live eating that for the entire month), and I enjoy a lot cooking them. <3
2. Buying gifts: I like to buy little things for everyone. Is a wonderful thing to look for that special trinket that will made someone's day. And I have a tradition of gifting bizarre books (like erotic novels) to my best friend that cracks me up everytime. I just love to see their face when they unwrap a gift from me and there's an oily shirtless pirate on the cover. XD
3. Hubby time: I love looking for weird gifts with him, cooking with him, decorating the tree and watching cheesy christmas movies on tv and laugh. Ugh, love that man too much. <3

Three things I like about the holiday season: -Baking cookies. And then eating cookies. -My cat drinking from the water at the base of the tree. -On New Years' Day, my mom and I bake bread, and then have family friends over for brunch.

THE HOLIDAY THINGS

1. THEMED PRESENTS. I did pineapple theme for my bean this year (everything wasn't exactly pineapple, but that was the overall theme, including colors!) I also wrapped his gift like a pineapple. I wish I had taken a picture, i was SO PROUD.

2. GIVING OUT CHRISTMAS COOKIES. We even had dog cookies that we gave out to the pupperonis at my work (i work at an animal shelter!)

Oh, that sounds fun!

Three thing I enjoy about the holiday season? Well...

1. Buying my loved ones gifts! It's always thrilling to go around buying people gifts, imagine what they would like... and seeing their faces when they open it! It always makes me excited!

2. The food! I especially love the turkey, and since I live in Amazon Rainforest, we eat it with lots of farofa, as always :) and I LOVE farofa! The deserts are always amazing, too! I'm hungry just to think of it :o

3. I used to celebrate Hanukkah with my friend's family, and even after this friend passed away, Hanukkah related things still are my favourite things about those holiday seasons :) it's a beautiful and meaningful celebration that I admire a lot <3

My favourite picture related to the holidays has to be this one of a cat-proof Christmas tree! Adorable, and my mum wants to try next year!

Things I love about the holidays;

1. People having that holiday spirit. I love seeing people be polite - sometimes it's just the little things. One care lets another out. Someone pauses an extra second to hold a door for someone else who is clearly a stranger - bonus points if the stranger has packages or is elderly. I think sometimes throughout the year, people forget to take a moment and be courteous to each other.

2. Live trees. I didn't put one up - haven't for a while, just because i'm usually busy and working, but I love the smell of real pine and seeing them all lit up. I used to nap under them (when I was younger and could, you know, fit XD)

3. Lights. I like trolling through the neighborhood (bonus if I'm not driving) so I can see the light displays people put up. It doesn't have to be big or fancy to make me smile.
