Without going too off-topic and naming names, I've left pet sites because they started coddling their userbase and rampantly censoring every little thing. I can respect trying to look out for your users, but it's simply not feasible to protect everyone from things that might offend them. One of the many reasons I've stayed with Subeta for so long is because of its tolerance and freedom. Not everyone is fond of Graveyard or Bloodred pets, for example, but most of us understand it's just for pretendy pixel fun-times and not out of malicious intent. There's plenty of stuff I don't like on the site, but there are others that do, so I just shrug and move on.

I have a dark sense of humor and I love horror. Items like this amuse me. Does that mean I'm laughing at people IRL that are suffering? No. Absolutely not. Sorry, but... learn to separate fiction from reality.

Yes, it kills people. So do a lot of other things. Things referenced or mentioned in items on here, even. Sorry, but I don't want Subeta to change all the names of items of things that can or will kill people. I mean, look at all the radioactive/nuclear items on site.

But all joking aside, it’s a bunch of pixels and it’s not the actual Ebola disease. I personally don’t like seeing fetuses and there are a lot of fetus-related items like , but I can choose to ignore these items most of the time and it hardly bothers me.

Unless someone is anonymous gifting you an Ebola item every day out of malicious intent, which you can report since that’s considered harassment, that item is just one out of several thousands of items on-site and the chances of seeing it is pretty dang low.

Pretty much this. I could type out a long drawn out post explaining why this is a non-issue, but this says it all. Subeta is a make-believe universe with many "silly items" such as these. Maleria is a NPC named after another deadly disease that kills over 400,000 people a year in impoverished areas. Should we rename her too?
