I've had a couple of days where I've received six, but other than that I've earned about two or three per day, if that.
I don't think the drop rate is too high. In fact, I think that they're a fair way to earn some small amount of CSC for users who can't or don't want to pay cash for CSC.
I think it's also worth mentioning that some users have been selling the cards for sP anyway, rather than earning CSC through them. Again, it's too early to tell what the effect will be on the economy, but I think it helps to bridge the gap a little between those who can't pay for site currency with money and those who can.
At the beginning I did think it was too high. I think perhaps it has been tweaked to be less? I think the rate should be like if you do all your quests you could get 1 or 2 a day.. max...
I love the Morty cards <3
I don't think the drop rate is too high. I think I received more (four) the very first day on my basic account. Since then I think I have received between 1-3 for completing every single quest as a non-gold member. One day I didn't complete all of the quests due to severe lag.
The reward is just enough of a taste of CSC to keep me wanting to quest each day. I also found myself wanting to put my battle pet through automated training sessions. I have never done that, but I see it as an option to spend csc on now. It's the perfect amount for the reward 25 csc (and some sp) for one card's worth of quest rewards. That may help other users who have lower tier pets and can't fight some of the battle challengers. For some of us it is very slow going, trying to train a pet through the training center when we can remember. I've been on here for 9 years and only just had my first pet reach tier 7.
I also didn't hesitate when buying more CSC for this bonus weekend sale. Getting free CSC via spa or Monty cards is not going to keep me from purchasing additional CSC. Subeta is rewarding people through continued log-ins and quest page refreshes. That makes me a satisfied customer, and I am more compelled to "give" back to the site by spending some money on purchasing some CSC.
I don't think the drop rate it too high. I agree that you may have been extremely lucky. I try to do all my quests every day. The day they were announced, I got 5, the next day 1. The 2 days after that I got 5 each day, now I'm lucky if I get three a day. Yesterday I didn't get my first Morty card until I had finished my 70th quest. I'm one of those people who doesn't always have the money to buy CSC. I've bought CSC in the past, but it's not something I can consistently do, so I don't mind when I get 5 or more Morty cards in one day.
In all honesty, I don't get why people are complaining about the drop rate for Morty cards being too high. I'm generally lucky if I get 1-2 a day. 3 is practically unheard of since they adjusted the drop rate. I think the drop rate is pretty well balanced and I really appreciate that it gives users a chance to earn CSC when they might not otherwise. You wont find me complaining if I occasionally get more than 2 in a day, especially with the current exchange rate for CSC on user shop prices. It costs more than 11 million sP to buy 100 csc in user shops, so really in the grand scheme of things it's not like 2-3 Morty Cards is really going to make a dent in things.
I just see it as a good incentive to encourage users to complete more quests on a daily basis and play more on the site, which is definitely a good thing.

I'm with most other people here: I think you're just lucky. I've done all my quests for the last two days, and only got one on each of those days.
Some days I don't get any so I don't think the drop rate is too high.
Haha I wonder if they've nerfed this in the last few days honestly. My GA ran out Friday I think? And I've gotten one card since Thursday. Hopefully I've just been super unlucky.
I got two morty cards today, so I don't think it's been nerfed yet.
You have a GA though, so you get to do more quests. With no GA, I made one morty card in... 4 days. That could be really bad luck like I said, but no one will know unless staff steps up of course! All we can do is speculate.
Lately I haven't been doing all my quests, just 6 out of the 9 quest givers. For a few days, I was getting 5 cards a day at first, then I started getting anywhere from 1 to 3 cards a day. I really hope that the drop rate hasn't been reduced, because the Morty cards give us an incentive to quest every day, but it's not fun when you don't get a card days in a row.
And I was doing all of my quests. So it's really skewed. I wonder if GA members have a higher chance? Because before then when I had a GA I was getting about 2-3 a day too. =/
I'll find out in a few days when my GA runs out if GA members have a higher drop rate. It should just be an even chance for everyone, with no preference for account status.
I find before my GA I got between 1-3 if I did all my quests that counted.
But the past 2 days I got none at all. Then I actived my GA and still didn't get any today.
It really is just pure luck with how many each user gets.
Virus is right. I have a GA - some days I get one or two cards and other days I don't get any.
I do feel like they've reduced the drop rate, or at least fixed the issue where some people would get 8 or 9 a day - I'm only getting 1-3 a day now, which is a much more reasonable amount.
I've barely gotten any, i think about 3-4 altogether since it begun... i wish i had op's luck lmao eta: blessed thread i just got one thx op
