I was on Neopets also and got bored of it and people got so rude so then I discovered Subeta. I'm glad I did because it's the best site. Neopets got silly because so many bullies, site kept getting bought by other companies and like you guys said lots of people were getting hacked or frozen. I think my account is still there but I haven't bothered to log on in a long time.

I'm another person who learned about Subeta from Neopets :) I have a lot of fond memories of Neo from my middle school and high school days, and sometimes return for the Altador Cup in the summer (I'm actually really good at that game :o Nobody was more surprised than me!) but don't really spend time there anymore. I let it just be a pleasant memory for the most part.

(There's been a glitch for at least 3 years now where my Neohome sometimes appears on the front page of the site :P I bet if I checked, it'd STILL be there.)

I also came over from Neopets. I can't remember how many years I was on there but maybe 3-5 at most? I was hacked within my first few months of being there, but got my account back. Then I was also frozen after getting a high score on that negg game because they thought I cheated, but I hadn't, and somehow they gave me my account back. I basically stopped playing when I found Subeta and I've been here almost 14 years. Yikes. Lol

I've enjoyed seeing you around.. hopefully when you go back to work you can still carve out an hour or two to come play? ^_^

We are going to do the Item Challenge.. I need a catchy name for it.. otherwise it's just gonna be called the Weekly Item Challenge.. 😜

I love how you refer to after kids bed times as "After hours"... it's so fitting for how I imagine your life to be. 😆

I just want to say too: I am so very happy that all of us found our way to Subeta, and that we all found our way into this amazing group of people! <3

I used to do Neopets as well. I was there pretty much since it opened. But I got tired of their garbage and left. My friend who was on Subeta brought me over here.

I was also from Neopets. My name Jinjah is a petpet name. I didn't even own or particularly like Jinjahs, but it was the first thing I thought of when I first joined Subeta. I'd heard about it on a Neopets board and decided to have a look. I didn't really expect to stay here and actually tried to delete this account, but due to a glitch it just wouldn't delete. That was lucky for me! I really loved Neopets until the Meepits incident (this will mean something to old Neopets fans) where they redrew all the pets without informing anybody. I really didn't like the redraws (especially the grey pets) so pretty much left sometime after that. My main account on Neopets was hacked and one of my sides. I've turned another side into a main and go through phases of playing there. I haven't collected any advent items from there for years though.....I did learn some basic html there and will always have fond memories of that site.

I feel you on the redraw. I worked so hard for a specific look for the dragon pet i had and put all my work into, only to have them change it.. I wish I had good memories of being over there, but I really don't. They ruined the whole thing for me.. I never really found toxic people there, but I also stayed out of forums. I had a guild I was "big into" and that was the only people I talked to there.

They did, but it was a tiny link in the tiny footer links.. and they didn't make such a big deal out of getting credit for them then.. there wasn't a shop to buy things from with the points either, I don't think.. so it wasn't that big a deal.. but yeah, I wish I could get that point and credit for you now! :P :) (**goes to check that you arent actually on my list..)

I also got started on neopets. 2 of my granddaughters were going to the elementary school a block from our house so always came for lunch. They had to run to the computer and check something on neopets every day. My sister was also playing there and they all convinced me to play to. The kids got tired of it before I did. lol and my sister moved over here and coaxed me to come too. Once I did, I just never went back. Don't have any bad memories of it but it wasn't as much fun as here.

I did neopets also and found out about subeta from someone in my guild on neopets who joined subeta. I also was a member of gaia. I am not sure if I have been taken off of both of them as I haven't been on either in ages.

Maybe you could call the daily item thing Make It Work.. Like we have to make do with the item you give us. It's just an idea I came up with. ^-^ I dunno, it just sounds cool.

I was on Gaia also for about a year or so. It was cute for awhile but I got bored of it. I haven't checked on my account on there in a long time. It's probably cleared if they clean out inactive. I don't think Neopets clears out inactive or not like Subeta does. Because last I checked without logging in my account is still there just can't look at it.
