There's nothing stopping you from greeting/chatting to individual newbies to make friends naturally though c: However as this is specifically a 'friend seeking' thread, I'm going to go ahead and close it.

There is also a board for Forum groups (previously Cults) that may help you find some likeminded people. I've made some wonderful friends on Subeta, some of which I have met up IRL so hope you find your people here c:
