~Tier 7. His main icon type is water, with wind and physical. Freezing is disabled, but he can steal at an annoying rate so be sure to use Blessing of Natural Armor crystals on your weapons. In addition, he has a curse that can disable scrolls for two turns so be on the lookout for that!

I just got a Strangely Warm Pearl, and I was wondering if other battlers think the Unlockable Challenger (Mornrise Serpent) is worth activating with it, versus selling it for what seems like quite a bit (at least according to current prices). Thanks in advance for any advice.

I can’t see anyone paying that price for it. Anyone who can beat Mornrise Serpent can earn the Pearl themselves for a fraction of the price, so I would unlock the challenger.

As a personal rule, I also never sell challenger unlocking items from achievements. There’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get them again since they’re limited to only one copy per account, so I will always unlock the challenger.

Elasmar Says moderate chance to freeze...LOL NOT true..froze me 3 times in the first battle against him ending me at a tie.He froze me on the last leg while i tried to heal. LOL

Question...i'm fighting gas mask blake and i was only allowed to use one weapon....has anyone else ever had that happen???Or is this site going wonky???

~Tier 13. I'm still holding out hope that nerfs him a little more. In the meantime, he only uses light, water, and wind attacks. He also blocks everything except for magma and water icons. Freezing and stealing are disabled, which frees up your mod slots. This is a difficult challenger, but not impossible to beat. Getting to five wins isn't too horrible since his health is comparitively low. Best of luck!

I hate to say this but... I think this is a challenger not only for tier 13 pets but also a capped pet lol Amber do did a very great job trolling us (with a clown):P Back to the topic, I can only think of the god weapons against him, like the Neochrome Spork and Sword of the Seven Seas If you don't have them, I think you are pretty much scrupled (like me lol) But I did come up stra with the MW and Swashbuckle, with Thunderball and Volatile Energized Mecha, and with a bunch of Sancturia Exodin scrolls, last but not least, the almighty Negating Pylonic that help you survive the last fierce hit from him (if you are lucky enough to get him down to red)

MW and Swash worked! 5 wins :D I'm done with it for now lol

Thank you :) It was not quite enough haha. I probably need to adjust the mods on them for more blocking of light/water/wind and for adding more magma and water damage. I'm also still only at T12 so I may just be slightly too weak for him.

Truthfully, I haven’t fought him with my other pets yet. Just getting through the wins with Crimsyn was quite an ordeal :P I still hope will consider nerfing him, as he’s probably one of the hardest challengers on the site right now, haha.

He's definitely too tough for me at the moment, I do hope he comes down some. I also cannot do the hydragellos this year I don't think. Just gave it a whirl and got 2 hits and that was it haha

He is beatable at T12 but you need a ton of AP for scrolls and really good weapons like SoSS

I don't think I have anywhere near enough AP sadly. Also am pretty sure I don't have SoSS but also bit sure what it is lmao

Edit: Derek has 228 AP only to his 3664 Intel. I read to him like a mofo (I'm about 600-700 books from a full reading completion) but I don't have enough Intel boosters I'm sure. I wish Intel had a lower rate to get an AP. 15 per 1 seems so high

Intelligence is highly sought after is why. Scrolls are critical. You can use tomes for intelligence and the dripping vials!

I do use up all my tomes typically but I'll need to dig into my vault to see if I've got some dripping vials hiding to help boost. I have a good amount with that AP but I know realistically I need a crazy amount more to use all of the good stuff I have in my library.
