Hello, I can answer some questions as a site programmer:

• The plot steps check for completion, so there is no way to cheat around it. If you delete or lose the item, that won't affect your ability to progress in the plot.

• If you "lock" the item in your inventory, it should be safe from anything that can take items. If something is still able to take a locked item, please report this as a bug.

Additionally I can pass on this message from : If you accidentally lost a Reliquary, please make a ticket and ask for Amber and she will handle it :)
