mostly I'm writing. Lots of writing lately. I'm into it! I'm improving :)

Michael is home now and has been doing great! The hubs and I are getting the routine down to feed him every 2 to 3 hours lol. It's a bit tiring, but it's worth it! Also my parents are here for 2 weeks to help.

Im thinking six weeks but they are also setting me up a comp to work from home so we will see what happens. I would loke to avoid daycare costs if at all possible

lol, just wait until your grocery bill goes higher. even little girls eat alot at first. then when they get to the teen years they slow down , or at least mine did

Can I get your opinion on something? I'm doing Reddit Secret Santa this year (it's my 5th year I think!) and I got matched with some guy who gave me basically nothing about him other than he likes outdoors (fishing, hunting, etc.) and cooking. I always try to be creative with these things rather than just giving generic gifts.

All I've been able to come up with is to write him out one of my favourite soup recipes and send along a bottle of red wine (that's both used in the soup and pairs well with it), the spices that go in the soup and then a grocery card so he can get the rest of the things that go into it.

Is that a good idea or is it crappy?

No, no weird spice at all. Hmmm. Maybe yeah I'll add in another one of my favourite recipes. Are there any other creative ideas you can think of that involve outdoor activities, tech, or cooking?

My husband is super outdoory but its hunting wise so idk if he hunts or just likes to camp?

oh well that is interesting. we didn't have a ladder until this year but the house we used to live in the stairs were so steep they coulda been deemed a ladder, LOL

He had his first checkup today and did pretty good! He now weighs 4lbs and 9oz, so he's definitely growing since we brought him home Sunday. He was at 4lbs and 2oz then.
