No. My boyfriend's wife had it mildly and the kid only had it for a hot minute. Boyfriend and I got it the worst. We're still recovering.

Ugh! I remember when the kidlet and I both got the flu at same time. Not fun! So the other day at our library I told the librarian about your library lending sewing machines...Sewing some seeds so to speak. :-D

I'm fine. <3 Just coughing and sneezing but feel great. Poor Liz is feeling rough, although she claims she's fine, but I can tell as she always asks for broth when she feels bad. And she recently decided that she needs a teaspoon of miso paste in her broth. It is pretty tasty. Salty as hell. :-P

I appreciate the validation. People are freaked out at how many books I have and why don't I want to get rid of the clutter and put them all on my phone or computer or whatever, no thanks!

If I had a Kindle it might not be as bad for me - I hate that there's really no place to comfortably hold onto it. And then I have to check a bunch of web sites so the brightness of the phone wakes me right up. lol

It would be so great to be able to check out a sewing machine. The one I have right now sucks.

I'm the same way with my books. I love the feel of the pages and the smell of each individual book. I got a Kindle as a gift and I can see the convenience but it's not the same!

I was like that for years, sticking with my paper books only. But I have like 2000 and had no more room for bookshelves for more! So I finally gave in and started using a Kindle when my friend got a new one and gave me her old one.

And ...I found I loved it! I can get books so much more easily on the computer, and I can make the type bigger which is easier on my aging eyesight. And I can pack a dozen for a trip so I never run out of stuff to read! and the kindle has such long battery life, I hardly ever have to recharge it.

I don't read books on my phone.. have tried, but it doesn't work. I only read books in the e-reader (Kindle or Kobo) with the E-Ink type display. Much easier and more conducive to reading trance.

What I read on my phone is web pages/ bulletin boards / internet news. :D

I have used the Kindle some and I didn't hate it, so this is more a me being stubborn thing. I have a few favorite books I re-read over and over and I don't think I could read them on there.

What is everyone reading btw? I am re-reading Lord of the Rings for the 100th time right now.

I'm still reading End of the Day by Claire North.

I'm also reading a bunch of stories posted on a website ... I'm also reading over a book like skimming through it for a certain character to help a friend who's writing a fanfiction story about this certain character...

But I really need to finish End of the Day. I'm bogged down in it. Probably 4/5 of the way through though...getting close to done.

I've got two since then. And a raffle ticket from the bathhouse :D
