Things are constantly changing around the site, and that can interact with CustomCSS in unusual ways. Try clearing your CustomCSS (after saving a copy in a safe place offsite, like a locally-stored .txt file) to see if that might potentially be the culprit. If it is, well, you know the fix! And if it isn't, then you've crossed a potential cause off the list. :)
