has been doing the heavy lifting on the Cash Shop revamp (please check his section for rad screenshots!!) while I tag a billion items. SOOOOON themed items in the Cash Shop will have their actual item types, for example A Desert Full of Bones will have the item type 'book' instead of 'themed item'. The Cash Shop will still be separated by "item types", but in a way that allows and I to actually make themed items make sense outside of the Cash Shop.

You might've noticed last week some cash shop items were showing up on Shop Search in the Zombie Den— I fixed that, and once we push this revamp, you'll see if items are in the Cash Shop (currently or not currently) or in the Neela area. Gold Account Medals will also link to the Gold Account page when using Shop Search! :)

Hiiii! So as mentioned, we have been working on revamping almost all of the cash shop. Or maybe actually all of it. She promised that I'd give you screenshots in my section, so... here they are!! DISCLAIMER: This is a huge work-in-progress that we're still tweaking and changing, so what you see in the screenshots below isn't necessarily what will go live when it is finished. It's just a peek behind the scenes to show you what we've been cooking up :D

Finally, here's a sneak peek of the new Neela page, one of the stores we're converting to the special-shops system. This conversion modernizes the code and makes it more consistent with the rest of the site, and also makes it easier for us to put in new features and tweaks to any of these shops. The items section and gold account section of the cash shop will also be updated in this way.

A few other notes about the cash shop revamp...

• Most pages are going to get at least a minor facelift, like the Billboards page and the Chance machines
• There are confirmation pop-ups wherever you spend CSC. Though now this should also be less of an issue, since you'll click a Buy button instead of the item image to purchase it, so you won't accidentally click it while trying to wishlist an item (for instance)
• We are looking into the possible inclusion of a search feature as well (!!)

Oh and a quick note unrelated... The images for the game Decanter of Indestructibility have been updated. It was previously using old images for items that have since been revamped, and now it's using the correct images for everything (yay) (EDIT - This might take a few minutes because I JUST deployed it, so don't worry if it doesn't show the new images for you yet)

Just a general reminder, please don't post off topic on the site update threads. These topics are not a place to bring up unrelated things in the hopes of getting staff attention. It is better to post in the appropriate place, as better organization makes it easier for us to keep track of things :)

I can talk with a bit about possibly getting just the Themed Tab to be ordered by ID, so the sets are together.

It's a thing I have to rebuild because I'm dumb and didn't put my branch on github (which I should've after I kept getting distracted by other projects) and then we did a lot of moving around on the backend so I lost that work. Good news, I've learned a lot since then! It's on my list to do after I finish tagging/getting these items done for Cash Shop stuff. :)

But for the Cash Shop in particular, we're hoping the Cart system will make it convenient to buy multiple items at once. We are renovating the Cart a bit to make it sleeker and more useful :)

Thanks for letting us know! It seems like the broken images are caused by the items that no longer exist on the site - like the Guide to Stalking Keith (which was revamped into a merana book) for example. Basically, to ensure the correct images are used, the code now looks for the image matching whatever item it's asking for. So it's broken on the items that no longer exist.

BUT - is going to look into the Decanter content so it will be taken care of then. She's going to look at removing old items like that, and maybe have it ask some new item sets... you'll have to wait and see :D
