Or the prize should have been a hairstyle, instead of a shirt. We have a way to get hairstyles bound to your account, without it being much of a problem, do we
But yeah, the pet slot can't be sold, the challenger can't be sold and so, the wearable shouldn't be able to be sold.
does this thread still need to be open? it's been answered.
I guess I'm just surprised because I would just assume that y'all would view any item added to the site would be a potential treasure chest option, regardless of whether it was a wearable or challenger item or book, etc since we have such a wide variety of pets and characters. :) Maybe that's just me being an Obnoxious Pet Person ™ and wanting to shove everything into a TC (it's the entire reason I have a selfie pet haha so that I can shove everything I love into there!!).
Curious, but would account bound items ever be released again? I'm used to the life of moving an item between TCs and my wardrobe, but it would be nice to have a copy for each of those.
How are people getting this item into their Wardrobe? I have emptied out my Inventory three times and it's still there.
You gotta do it from item options, not quick stock.
oh jeez, I'm so used to quickstocking for everything I'd have never tried that. Thank you!
you're welcome (:
I asked about the ability to put it into TCs in the news post that announced the Quest-a-Thon itself. It was definitely brought up before the QaT started.
It doesn't bother me that much since it'll be resolved, and I know the reason it was sent out as-is was because it had already been over a week and people were starting to ask about the prizes. But it was definitely mentioned. And likely will be again any time these kinds of items come out - that's why old, one-time-use plot items get re-released (items like ), the knock-off battle eggs were created, and the hydra medal replicas came out. Because some people are TC-focused.
i think in general the functionality of account-bound items should be looked into further. for instance, certain items that were later made r202 are still able to be moved to the vault, but those that were always intended to be untradeable cannot. surely there must be some way to make it consistent?
