Hello everyone! We'd like to take a moment to quickly update you on what's been going on since the server changes (which talked about in this thread).

We're aware that the site has gotten laggier since the changes; this is because we moved to a new infrastructure and are still working on calibrating everything. is actively tweaking things to try and change this, so hopefully we will notice an improvement in the upcoming days.

Please do not make bug reports about the site lag. We (staff members) also use the website to work and the lag affects us too. We promise that we are aware and working on it the best we can!

We're aware there's been several issues with resets and other time-limited things as well - such as dailies, the pet spotlight, and so on. We are looking into this, and has been resetting things manually in the meantime.

Quick little to let you know the situation.

We've got a ton of fixes for things ready to go - including fixes for both tons of PHP warnings as well as random other stuff that's broken around the site. Right now there's just some issues getting them actually deployed and on-site. Tomorrow's Labor Day (in the US) so I will be devoting a huge chunk of time on Tuesday to sorting that out.

Thank you for bearing with all of this <3 I know it's frustrating right now for the site to be having growing pains when we're trying to do events and stuff ><

(PS: sorry if this is pinging siteupdate too much! If enough people tell me to ping it less, I will adjust! I just wanna keep communicating about what we're doing to deal with all this, but like not be bothering with a million pings either lol.)

Another little to follow up on the issues and our progress regarding them!

Cron problems (Issues with things resetting, like dailies) We've made good progress on fixing the cron issues! Almost everything that was wonky should be working correctly now, like the pet spotlight, Shinwa's quests, etc. The only thing that still seems a little broken still is Stargazer. We are working on figuring out what's up with that.

PHP Warning Messages The vast majority of these have been fixed! Hooray! The remaining errors are mostly to do with certain custom code for items, and I am working with and to fix it properly :) If you run into more warning messages around the site, you can report it here: PHP Warning list - READ FIRST POST Please read the first post before making your report!

Broken forum previews and pop-ups There was a JavaScript error which affected several parts of the site - such as sCode previews (which exist in several pages) and the CW shop purchase pop-up. The root cause has been fixed, so everything that was affected should be working perfectly again.

Site lag We're happy to report that we're making good progress against the lag. has been making several adjustments to it over the course of the past week. We know it's still not perfect, but rest assured that it's being worked on.

Quest-a-Thon Some of you have expressed concerns about the Quest-a-Thon. We've heard you, and I've been told that and are planning to do something to help the last stretch. ;)

That would be an issue with caching, and I'll forward that to . He actually pushed a fix a few days ago that we thought fixed it, but I guess not D:
